My students get so much more than JUST Voice lessons. They will have a full resource from a professional still working in the entertainment field. I share everything I have learned and am still learning with my students. Besides learning an incredible vocal technique that will help avoid vocal blow out, I teach emotional connection to your songs, on stage performance, mic technique, studio performance and work with song selection. I share my whole self with every student whether they are a beginner or a pro.

I have been playing for over 2 decades and have a lot of experience playing professionally. I am also currently a audio engineer and record music for a living. I have a professional studio that will give the student the ability to sit inside and feel what it like to be in a real studio, not just a practice space like pretty much every teacher i have ever had lessons with. I have a practical approach for any one getting started with drumming. But i also like to teach what the student wants to learn at that time. This varies based on the needs of the student.

About Jason

I love teaching people all that i have learned over the past 2 decades. I have a lot of knowledge and experience to impart. And I have easy ways to teach this material to get you up and running on your own as soon as possible. I teach all styles to any one of any age and any skill level. I have

My main goal is to help you to develop your own set of tools, and better understand your unique voice as an artist. Make sure to wear clothing you can move in during our sessions, and, most importantly, explore and just have fun!

My background and career have never placed importance on speaking and looking objectively at myself, I wanted to improve that ability. Toya has been very patient and down to earth with me, as raw as I am, in helping me. After a few lessons I already feel confidence growing and enjoy her instruction.

A very good first lesson. We went over breathing exercises and scales. Also had time for Amy to critique my speaking style through a portion of a speech I will be giving in a month. Time well-spent.

She briefly went over the next lesson plan and gave me a little homework to do as well.

I got a lot out of this lesson and I can see how this will help me accomplish my goal of being a better public speaker and having a more controlled and stronger voice.

Looking forward to future lessons.

"David is an amazing talent and provides me with much needed inspiration. In little over a year, I have learned a tremendous amount about nearly all styles of guitar, classical and lead guitar in particular. It's very helpful to have an awesome instructor who is extremely knowledgeable and very patient. His lesson plans are geared towards what I want to learn and the lessons that we work on cover all the techniques that are necessary to take my skills to the next level. He makes every lesson fun and he works with me until I am comfortable to move on."

"I am Desiree' Grandfather, and I must say in these past couple months, I have witnessed a true piano master instructor at work. Nancy, is very thorough, patient, friendly and non-threatening. She skillfully applies just the right amount of pressure to get the desired results; even the environment is conducive for music. I was just an observer but if I had to rate Nancy, from 1-10 (1 being the lowest), she would receive a Resounding 10."

Comparing Piano Teaching Methods | Bastien Piano Basics, Suzuki, & More

As you search for local piano teachers, you might notice some teachers listing specific teaching methods on their TakeLessons profile. In its earliest days, when families and communities braved the broad frontier of our continent, music was written on animal hides and skins. Only families who were wealthy enough to …
