I trained in theater and speech coaching at The Academy of Arts in Greenville, SC. Later I received my BA degree in English from the University of Maryland Univ. College, and currently I am working on my MA in Psychology. I have over 10 years experience working in theater and speech, including years of tutoring English students at a professional tutoring franchise. I worked as a speech coach for drama competition students: my students were all given the "Superior with Invitation" rating at Locals, then Regionals, and finally invited to compete at the National level. This was for solo, small group and large group. I specialize in dramatic interpretation of literature, reader's theater and choric speaking.
