Lessons begin with Individual diagnostics, then are tailored to each student. 

Based on Edith Skinner's method of Standard American Speech, students will learn how to work with the actual physical mechanics of making the sounds of Standard American Speech, using the articulators (lips, teeth, tongue) and breath.

Moving forward, students will practice fluency with difficult sounds and sound combinations to increase confidence.

Finally, students will apply the practice drills to larger pieces of text, to explore melody, fluidity, and fluency in narrative and professional examples of English text.
