Welcome to my ESL (English as a Second Language) class! This course is designed to help non-native English speakers improve their communication skills. Our focus will be on speaking, pronunciation, listening, and practical application of the language. Throughout this course, you will engage in various activities that are tailored towards improving your speaking abilities. We understand that conversing in a foreign language can be daunting but we aim to create an environment where everyone feels comfortable and confident to express themselves. This course also includes pronunciation exercises aimed at helping you articulate your thoughts and ideas with precision and clarity. In addition to speaking and pronunciation, this class emphasizes developing listening skills. We will utilize audiovisual materials such as films, recordings, and podcasts so you may develop an ear for the nuances of spoken English. We understand that mastering a language involves more than theoretical knowledge. As such, this class places a premium on practical applications of the English language through group discussions, role-playing exercises, presentations and more.
