Language with Alaina D.

My name is Alaina and I'm 22 and from Louisiana. I recently moved to California this past summer. In regards to French, I have been learning the language since 2002. I began to hone in on it in 2007, and I have earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in French from LSU this past May. I have tutored friends and classmates on the high school and collegiate level. I have also traveled to France twice to study abroad. I am a huge fan of sports and being active. I've played softball for over 10 years as well as being a competitive cheerleader for 4. I've had injuries that caused me to give those up; however, I am an aerialist now. I've done aerial silks for two years and it is a true joy of mine. I've been a part of an aerial/physical theatre production that was performed in Scotland at the Fringe festival, and in California, I've trained with an amazing Las Vegas aerialist and learned how to play on new contraptions such as rope and rings. I look forward to sharing my passions with you!
