Update 02/10/15: Takelessons is a great way to teach and a fantastic and easy way to learn for students. I currently have 3 students per week, with several hours. I really enjoy it, either online via Skype or Facetime or Live at the students place. Hit me up and let's move something together.

I learned a lot from Marcel and liked his vision of how to redo the garden. The original garden was cluttered with overlapping plants and we discussed how to improve it. He pulled out his iPad and made several garden sketches that were helpful. The original garden was cluttered with overlapping plants and we decided to remove several of them and re-"orchestrate" the remaining ones. (We only bought new plants if they were needed to realize the new garden vision.) He is also a very hard worker, helping me (physically) transplant and add plants as required. For example, we transplanted a 100+ (?) pound Sago palm across the front yard. I would never have done that on my own (too heavy for me) but together we did it! Highly recommended. Bill

Excellent teacher. We took a 20'x2' section of "dirt" in the back, redid the soil, transplanted a rose in that section, added two other new roses and a bunch of ground cover. Looks great! Recommended.

I did not actually take any lessons with him, but his schedule did not reflect what showed as available in Takelessons. He had a very bad attitude and would not actually schedule the lesson after several exchanges.

I am a former German professor from Russia who currently lives in America and tutors full time now Russian and German.

I provide a variety of activities for my lessons so you will never get bored.
For example, I will use games, interactive conversational lessons, fun warm up tasks, case studies, and even riddles. We will use authentic materials as well. You will learn conversational skills, formal writing skills, and test taking strategies all in a fun manner.

I have a background as as an experienced lecturer, teacher, and tutor in the field of linguistics (general linguistics, history of linguistics, psycolinguistics, social linguistics, gender studies). Since defending my dissertation, I have continued to do research in gender studies in the field of virtual communication and digital text, especially non-verbal communication, social networks and gender-specific communication. However, I have found that my true passion is helping students in one-on-one lessons.

More than just following recipes, you can bring back fun and creativity back in your own kitchen and actually learn to master the art and science of cooking.

My experience includes successfully running a food recipe website that has 100's of recipes in an easy to follow step by step format that has provided proven gratification to hundreds of followers, a full-color print food magazine that went out to thousands of Houston families, management experience in property and multi-family housing, and marketing experience in social media and segmented marketing.

So here I am, excited and delighted to share my knowledge of cooking with you. Join my cooking courses and take an exciting culinary journey through the world!
I have been a culinary instructor on Udemy for many years now and have thousands of students who learn how to cook from me. My two courses are on Indian food and Instant Pot. What I enjoy about being an instructor is to see how people from all over the world benefit from the knowledge that I have. I get immense satisfaction when people write back to me how my teaching and courses have changed their lives. Here is what my students say about my courses:

· "One of the top three courses I have taken on udemy - an A-Z learning experience with check-yourself tests/reminders. Presentation is excellent and course is clearly and thoroughly explained. If you have an interest in Indian food you will learn a lot and if you are a "seasoned pro" (excuse the pun!) you will also benefit. Excellent value for money - Highly recommended."
· “This course is fantastic!! It took me a short time to go through the course, and now I feel transformed from a "Instant Pot" rookie to one who can take on a cooking contest ! I have a new found confidence in how to use my IP and am starting to cook more "Instant Pot" than traditional everyday. Love the step by step approach that takes you

Besides being a Chef, I'm also an Actor, but we can discuss more of my acting career later on. First things first, I've been cooking since the young age of 9. I used to watch my grandma cook and I was
just in awe from the smell of the kitchen and dishes she cooked. Once I started cooking, I couldn't stop. One thing lead to another and next thing you know, bada bing bada boom, I was creating my own dishes. One of the most fascinating things I enjoy is dicing, slicing, and mincing ingredients up. I'm very comfortable working with kids. I enjoy cooking with both my niece and nephew and they always have fun cooking with me. Well thats all for now folks. Looking forward to showing you how much fun you can have in the kitchen and learning while you're at it. See ya soon!
