Mark Twain famously said that, "History doesn't repeat itself, but it does rhyme." History is the fascinating documentation of what happened in the past – there's so much to learn from it! It shows the good, bad, beautiful and ugly side of humanity. I have studied a lot of history from different cultures and ages; it has helped me to be able to write 4 books.

I will help you with any history assignments and essays, both in terms of understanding what you need to do and developing a response that is logical, coherent and polished. Hopefully, I can also inspire you to see history as a very interesting subject that gives us an insight into how humans act.

Hi, my name is Joel. I'm from Australia and now I live in Hawaii. I am an author and editor who has published 4 books. I teach many subjects including writing, grammar, English, mathematics, history and more.

I taught ESL (English as a Second Language) for many years, including for a total of 4 years in Germany and Japan. I enjoy helping people to speak English fluently and confidently. I have also taught primary school children before in diverse subjects such as Latin and chess. I specialize in helping people fine-tune their writing and grammatical skills, so they come out writing like a pro!

My hobbies include traveling, hiking, reading, self-development and yoga.
