We're going to have some fun learning about nouns. Nouns are words that name people, places, things, or ideas. For example, the word "dog" is a noun because it is the name of an animal. The word "teacher" is also a noun because it is the name of a person. "Park" is a noun because it is the name of a place, and "love" is a noun because it is the name of an idea or feeling.

Nouns are important because they help us communicate clearly and effectively. When we use nouns in our sentences, we can be specific about what or who we are talking about. For example, instead of saying "I saw something in the sky," we can say "I saw a plane in the sky." This helps the listener or reader understand exactly what we mean.

How is grammar taught in school? 
The standard and traditional way grammar is typically taught is by separating the two subjects. For example, grammar is learning nouns one week and then verbs the next week, and so on and so on. This type of teaching takes weeks to learn basic foundational grammar. We implement a completely different approach.  

What sets me apart from the typical writing class? 
I believe that learning should be fun and captivating, which is why I have incorporated interactive and engaging elements into my lessons. Say goodbye to dry textbooks and monotonous lectures!
