All ages are welcome! Viola is one of my secondary instruments and I would love to pass on my passion for music to my students. Students can expect to learn how to play the viola with proper technique in a way that is unique to each student. Students use the Suzuki books, Barbara Barber scale method, etudes and student requests in their lessons. Brynn’s students will also learn basic music theory, which includes reading notes, rhythms and key signature recognition for all major and minor keys. Students can also expect to improve their overall musicianship skills while earning audition skills and gaining overall confidence. I cannot wait to work with you.

About Brynn

Brynn is an experienced violinist with a Bachelor's of Music in Violin Performance from Youngstown State University. She has studied under the guidance of Professor Joseph Kromholz. She has been playing the violin for 13 years. She is classically trained but has experience performing other genres.

Brynn was such a great teacher for my daughter! She was engaging and supportive throughout the lesson. Her knowledge about music and the viola is phenomenal! My daughter is so excited to connect with Brynn for her lessons each week.

It was our first lesson and as a parent I trust Brynn to position my daughter to be a great violin player. As she instructed my child she also made sure that I understood what she was teaching so that I can assist her with practices at home. This was very forward thinking and I appreciated her sharing her knowledge with me! My daughter has a great time!

I had my own country band (Sunset Country) for 8 years. We performed regionally during that time frame playing as many as 70 plus gigs a year. The band did both current and classic country music. I happen to like both. Some only like one or the other. I still perform country music in two of the bands I'm currently playing in and could be of great help to you regardless if you play current, or classic country, acoustic and/or electric guitar.

About Keith

I specialize in teaching and performing Country, Blues, Rock n Roll, Folk, Bluegrass even a little Jazz. I love many musical styles. I teach both Electric and Acoustic guitar playing. And I'm now offering a huge list of different types of lessons. Please make sure to visit my "Subjects". That's is

I've found Keith to be professional, good communicator and a great teacher for our 8 year old. He has patience and a real love for music and it shows. He is our first instructor so I don't have anything to compare him with but I do know people and feel great working with him. I forgot to mention, he has a little studio in his basement perfect for lessons.
I hope this helps anyone . Thx.

With over 10 years of teaching experience, and sharing the stage with the likes of Bob Mintzer and Gilbert Castellanos, trumpet playing is my biggest passion. Our lessons will be focused, yet relaxed; challenging but always fun and full of exciting challenges. My playing and teaching experiences have helped me understand what it takes to reach that "next level" of trumpet playing, whether it involves range, technique, or musical performance. "I'm very grateful to have found a teacher as generous as Chris. Since reviewing is so important in our culture anymore, I always like to get a good sampling before constructing a review. Chris shows consistently that he listens to his students, offers positive critique, and molds his approach to meet the student where they are. Chris makes it easy, fun and relaxing to learn. It isn't hard to gather that Chris is a professional and experienced teacher. I am a very beginner, adult student, and I can appreciate how Chris can teach a spectrum of students at different skill and experience levels. Thanks to Chris for making my hobby to learn an instrument such a dream!"

Songwriting 101: Using the "Long-Line" Concept

One of the most wonderful and rewarding things about the art of songwriting is that there are many different ways to approach making your own music. Arlington,TX music teacher Ric F. previously shared with us his tips on using rhythm as a guide to writing. Today, Ric would like to add another aspect to your understanding of writing songs, something he calls the "long-line" concept. Unlike visual art where you can see it all at once, music takes “time” to reveal itself. Today I would like …
