Paul is a most excellent violin instructor. He is very patient and kind. I don't feel self conscious about learning the violin as Paul quickly puts me at ease when I am challenged. Paul explains and demonstrates everything so well that it is much easier to catch on. In addition Paul has a very friendly and relaxed disposition that makes him a delight to work with. Without a doubt I highly recommend Paul as a WHOLE but he is UBER Great with novice students such as myself.

Above all I want students to enjoy learning the piano. Most people start because they love a certain type of music or wish they could just sit down and enjoy playing. My goal is to make that happen. I teach all ages, beginners and intermediate levels. I think that lessons for children need alot of variety so that they can learn from games, singing, clapping, movement and playing the piano. Of course, singing, clapping, movement and playing the piano are what we all need but without the stickers at the end of your lesson!

About Nancy

Playing the piano and loving music has been at the center of my life. Aside from the happiness and fun it can bring, learning an instrument also teaches discipline and confidence which carry over into everything. I enjoy teaching both children and adults. As I teacher I am patient and encour

Kyle knows Ableton, recording, and music inside and out.

Taking one on one lessons with Kyle has saved me so much time and headache.

The end result speaks for itself.

Lessons with Kyle have really opened up Ableton to me as a beginner. Each time I come to the lesson with a challenge I've been hitting while messing around with the software, and after the lesson I leave with a new toolkit to not only solve that problem, but open up so many new creative options. Love it! Highly recommended.

David enjoys teaching students from all different backgrounds and levels of proficiency. Whether you are just starting out or a virtuoso shredder in the making, he is happy to teach you! Over all, he is fairly laid back, as long as you practice. He usually combines work with reading off of the treble clef (what he likens to "eating your vegetables." You may not want to do it, but it will make you a healthier musician!) with learning more popular songs (or songs the student says they would like to learn) through tablature and chord charts, depending on the style of the song.

David is also very pro music theory. He usually incorporates music theory into the curriculum in conjunction with the material already being discussed. He is also very knowledgeable about composition/songwriting, and if the student is interested in learning more about this area, he is happy to share what he knows!

About David

David is a successful singer/songwriter/guitarist out of Fairfax, VA. He has a bachelor's degree in Music with a concentration in composition from Salisbury University, where he also studied jazz and classical guitar . In the 25 years he has been performing (20 of those professionally) and playin

James is an amazing teacher! My son has taken piano lessons from him for several years. James not only taught lessons and theory, he helped my son prepare “Prelude in C Major” by Bach for a school talent show. They also worked on Erik Satie’s “Gymnopedie”. One year, James helped him prepare a song to sing at a talent show and even came to the show and accompanied him on piano. My son has written songs that James has helped him refine. When my son showed up with a ukulele, James was able to teach him how to play it as well. We love James!

"My husband and I feel incredibly lucky to have met Kelly. She is not only an amazing teacher but overall she is such a patient kind hearted person who has been a blessing for us all while giving in home piano lessons to our twin 5 year old boys. Kelly has helped instil a respect and appreciation of music while encouraging both of our boys to play. She is very thourough and always keeps us aware of the progress.
Both of my kids run to the piano and practice all on their own, this for me is priceless! and it's all thanks to Kelly."

After maxing out on what I could teach myself I wanted to learn from an instructor who understood music and could explain music conceptually instead of memorizing what to do. Jesse is great at delivering the "why" and also sharing practical techniques to make you better."

"Priscilla recently started teaching my 5 year old (just turned 6) and my 4 year old girls. They both really enjoy the lessons and are doing a great job learning how to play the piano. I am not musically inclined and don't know how to play. The girls have been able to show me a lot of the basics. Even my 2 year old (who is not taking lessons) can play Baby Shark! It's pretty amazing that the girls are able to play recognizable tunes after only a few lessons. Priscilla does a great job engaging the girls and keeping the lessons fun and relevant for their age and interests. On the very first lesson, she asked their favorite song and began to teach them how to play it. My oldest had a lesson on her 6th birthday and Priscilla (who didn't know it was her birthday ahead of time) changed the lesson and taught her how to play Happy Birthday to You. Priscilla is a great instructor. I highly recommend her."
