He is really helpful and gives you many eye opening advices and tools that encourage you to develop your artistry. I am a Telly Award winning casting director, director and writer. I have over 20 years in the industry. I enjoy writing and directing, however casting is the best part of the industry. Working as a director & casting director allowed me to witness what we want to see in actors at auditions. I got to see so many actors that had the ability but lacked the confidence during auditions to make an impression. My classes are 11-month classes that consist of learning techniques and performing. We have recitals, certificates after each months lesson, assist with agent referrals and lots of scene studies.

Acting is such a broad term! What are your goals? Do you want to be in films? Do you want to do Shakespeare? Do you want to be in a sit com? Depending upon what your interests are and where you want to go, we will build a plan together. My philosophy on acting techniques is that they are tools to help you, not tests you pass if you're a good actor and fail if you're a bad one. Different techniques work for different people and it is our job to find out what inspires you.

I've worked as a professional actor for many years, performed on Broadway, have my MFA in Performing Arts, and my BA in Arts and Education. I was an assistant director to Tony-winner Sharon Ott and have written and produced my own work. I have experience in both stage and camera acting, which have specific technical differences, but are both a lot of fun once you get used to the medium. Audition technique, preparing monologues, and creating promotional materials are also things I can help with. Anyone who wants to ...

About Rebecca

My approach is both supportive and pragmatic, based on where each individual's skill set is right now and what your specific goals are. I've had the benefit of both formal instruction as well as a decade in the "school of hard knocks." Climbing up the ladder to earn my Equity Card on a Production C

A-mazing! She’s an awesome mentor! Her approach to singing is brilliant in the sense that she helps you explore yourself, your strengths and areas you could work on to improve. She helps you find and utilize your voice in a way that makes a unique artist. She digs in right to the foundation of singing (vocals) and performing. I am glad to have found her! And to add up, I never had a dull moment with her with her sense of humor and caring approach!

Rebecca is wonderful at helping my daughter learn better public speaking skills.

Rebecca immediately made my granddaughter comfortable. Rebecca is a sweet, charming woman who, I can see, works very well with both children and adults. She is extremely knowledgeable and knows how to make people feel good about themselves.

Can You Really Learn Contemporary Dance Online?

Contemporary dance is the most expressive and subjective dance form, making it more accessible to outsiders and helpful as a supplement to other dance training. Contemporary choreography techniques help dancers harness the energy and emotion of their own bodies, resulting in a more fluid and organic form of movement that can appear effortless and completely improvised to the casual observer. You have a lot of options when it comes to learning, practicing, and performing modern dance. And with t …
