Singing

I am a professional musician. I am an international soprano opera singer and classically trained pianist. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education and a Master of Arts in Music Education and Opera Performance. I have been teaching music for over 15 years and currently work as a music teacher at the Chula Vista School of Music in San Diego, CA. When it comes to teaching, I believe in adapting to each student's needs and preferences. Every student is unique, and I tailor my lessons to meet their individual requirements. I choose the lesson material based on the student's interests and abilities. My teaching method is centered around the type of music my student loves and building from there. I want my students to achieve their musical goals and aspirations while enjoying the learning process. I teach voice, piano, harmony, piano composition/improvisation. Julliard System. I´m bilingual in English-Spanish.

I am a professional musician, soprano Opera singer, and classical pianist with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education and a Master of Arts in Education and Voice Performing. I've been teaching professionally for 15+ years. Bilingual teacher (English-Spanish).

I offer one-on-one lessons that are tailored to each student's unique vocal potential. My goal is to help students explore their favorite songs and develop the necessary skills to become independent musicians. My teaching methodology is customized for each student. I strive to get to know each student and their voice to create a personalized approach that will help them achieve their singing goals. I utilize a variety of theoretical and practical exercises to unlock the true potential of their voice. With a kind, clear, and warm approach, I will help students discover and release their authentic voices. 

I teach all genders and skill levels, from beginners to those pursuing a career in singing. My lessons are also open to those who love singing for the pure enjoyment of it.

Songs & Repertoire (Rhythm, notation, phrasing).
 
I can help you expand your vocal range through simple exercises and vocal strengthening techniques, enabling you to reach higher notes with ease. Additionally, I will train you on proper breath control to enhance your vocal power. Moreover, I aim to build your confidence to perform in front of others. 

I provide the sheet music and lessons in PDF format.

I adapt to my students' learning needs. I know every student is different, so I make my music lessons according to what they want to learn. I also individually select material for the class according to my students' wishes and abilities. I want my students to reach their musical potential and aspirations while having a wonderful time!

**I also offer piano lessons. If you're interested, we can combine your lessons with piano lessons to make it more convenient for you.


Alice is a great teacher for adults! I’m a mom of two toddlers and she works with my schedule and is understanding when plans change. She is also very knowledgeable and great at choosing music to fit my skill level and to challenge me.

Alice is an outstanding voice instructor! She is very patient, and easy to work with. Her approach makes it very comfortable for you to practice the vocal exercises and singing, especially if you are new to singing. I plan to continue taking lessons with Alice.

My son's first lesson with Alice was great! She was very relatable to him (he is a teenager). She was very knowledgeable of the different genres of music and was familiar with the type of music he likes. She was also very pleasant and encouraging. My son is looking forward to further singing lessons with Alice.
