I can help you learn any song by breaking it into 4 parts: 1) left hand technique 2) right hand technique 3) rhythm 4) melody

I can teach you strumming and fingerpicking styles, chords, pick techniques, and soloing. I can also teach you music theory and how to read music if you are interested.

I love to play the guitar, and I want to help you to be able to experience this joy too! I've received basic training in classical guitar. I have 20 years playing experience and 1.75 years teaching experience.

Jordan is a great teacher. He's been patient with me so far as I am still learning how to play guitar and also factor it in to my busy schedule. In this video I'm going to show you how to train your fingers so they can move independently from one another, and so they can stay close to the frets as you play. Staying close to the frets and keeping your fingers independent of each other are two important skills to have when playing with your left hand when you're playing melodies, solos, etc.

String bending is a very important technique for guitar soloing and is a lot of fun once you learn how to do it. With the right technique, you can learn to use string bending to express yourself in all sorts of musical styles, including blues, rock, pop, country, and many others!

This video shows the technique of how to play hammer-ons and pull-offs correctly. Hammer-ons and pull-offs, also known as slurs on other instruments, are a part of the legato technique on the guitar. Legato means to play smoothly, and by using hammer-ons and pull-offs you will indeed be able to play more smoothly and add a whole new world of sounds and expressive techniques to your playing.

It's very important to get the right hand technique down from the beginning, as it will be the basis for all of you future playing. Proper technique makes it easier to play, and is important even if you are playing simple beginner level songs.
