Daniel S.

Miami, FL

About Daniel

I have been teaching guitar for many years; privately and in the classroom. I specialize in teaching classical guitar but also play several other instruments.

I earned my Bachelor's degree in classical guitar performance under Dr. Eladio Scharrón at the University of Central Florida, and received my Master's degree from the Chicago College of Performing Arts. There I studied with Denis Azabagic, winner of 11 major international guitar competitions and recognized as one of the premier guitar virtuosos in the world.

I am currently the Outreach Coordinator for the Florida Guitar
Foundation and I teach guitar full-time at South Dade Senior High School. I have a great deal of knowledge and I love to teach. I feel that my wide instrumental and stylistic experience give me a well-rounded perspective, which I strive to impart to my students.

Daniel is very patient but does no mind calling Trinity on her inattentiveness. He works well with and respects her intelligence.

Alicia B.

Miami, FL

About Alicia

Alicia has been playing the violin since she can remember thanks to her very talented musical family. Because of their efforts she received her first exposure to loving and teaching music at an early age through attending and later assisting her mother's Suzuki string program. They also afforded her the opportunity to learn with some of the finest violin teachers Miami has to offer.
A proud alumni of Miami's public arts programs, including those of Southwood Middle School, Coral Reef Senior High and the Greater Miami Youth Symphony, Alicia encourages all of her school-age students t
o explore their options of participating in the various youth arts organizations in the community.
In addition to her 15+ years training in violin technique and classical repertoire, she also has had almost 10 years of classical piano instruction and has had the privilege to perform classical, jazz, blues, latin and pop music from coast to coast and in Europe.
