About Carlos

My name is Carlos, I have studied guitar for over 8 years with 3 years in the mighty electric guitar and 5 in the classical. Aside from mastering the most challenging concert pieces I am a composer with over 23 written and recorded songs, from classical to heavy metal. I am the teacher that will not only teach you guitar but will make you live and breathe the instrument. My style is design to motivate students to not only learn this beautiful instrument but also appreciate it and learn the discipline, commitment and unparalleled reward it brings to play it. Above all I I want my students to experience the immense joy of learning a new song, or making something sound cool by your own hand, or hopefully to create beautiful music that no one in the history of the earth has ever head before. ...

About Stephanie

I love to teach music as much as I love to perform. Be sure to check out my photos and recordings! I currently am a Graduate Teaching Assistant at FIU where I am completing my masters in music performance for cello. As a young girl I began taking private piano lessons which eventually led me to participate in the string program at my Elementary School. Not knowing anything about string instruments I was handed a Cello by the Conductor, and I've been playing ever since! I joined the local symphony GMYS (Greater Miami Youth Symphony) throughout my high school career which not only boosted my orchestral playing but was a great motivation to continue playing. In the midst of my college career I became inspired to share my knowledge of music with young and adult students. My goal ...

Good Teacher

I've now had my second class with Stephanie. She is an excellent teacher and has taught me more in two lessons than I ever learned with my first teacher.
I'm very pleased.

Carlos Vicenty is excellent!

I have been working with Carlos for about two months. I am an advanced player mostly self taught. I needed someone to give me new challenges and Carlos was just the ticket! In only a few lessons, he tied together many old concepts and gave me new ways to look at them. I always look forward to my lesson with Carlos.
