I teach the Yang 108 form. My teacher, Cole McMullen, was taught according to the principles of the Chen Wei Ming school. In fact, I am part of the didactic lineage of Chen Wei Ming himself. Cole's teacher is the Tai Chi "grandson" of Chen Wei Ming, meaning he learned from a disciple of Chen Wei Ming.

About Lars

I began to teach guitar at 16 years of age. I have taught seven- to 60-year-old students in a wide variety of styles. I studied jazz guitar primarily with Randy Vincent, one of the San Francisco Bay Area's greatest guitar players, and continue to broaden my horizons under the guidance of Matthew Gra

Your Tai Chi Journey begins with an understanding of your needs. There is no mystery or mysterious movements to Tai Chi Chuan. The lessons are science-based so you will enjoy learning this wonderful art which has changed my life and I'm sure it will change yours too. Once we've set some goals we'll begin with introductory training. Experienced or maybe not so much we will work together to help you reach your goals.

Ron is an excellent and attentive teacher. He is very attuned to his students abilities, health constrains and inspirations. Ron knows how to make me move forward without clanging me too much and at the same time to achieve a progress. I am looking toward our lessons every week with the expectation to learn something new or refine my practice. Even though I started taking classed via zoom during the pandemic, these one on one instructions enabled me to make a tremendous progress in my practice. I hope to continue to learn from Ron a great more and to borrow from his bottomless optimism: we all need some positivity in our lives during these challenging times. Ron, many thanks for everything!
Linda
I was nervous about our first lesson, and there was no need to be! Ron was patient and kind, and went at the slow pace we wanted. And this is REAl tai chi!
Laurie
I wholeheartedly recommend taking classes with Ron. I think of his classes as Tai Chi 360. He covers all of the bases from learning the actual form, to health benefits, to breathing, to how the energy is moving, to the philosophy, to the martial aspects, everything. He is responsive and open to all questions. Even though I've been taking strictly online classes, Ron manages to make you feel like you're part of a Tai Chi community with the other students.

Learning the forms can be a real challenge for me because of my limited success in being able to watch a mirror image and do it myself and the problem of remembering the movements. But Ron is very patient when showing the movements and he gives great verbal cues.

Don't hesitate to join because you are a beginner or think you are too advanced. All levels are addressed, no just teaching to the lowest common denominator.

Sign up - this is a great chance to really learn Tai Chi!

I teach my students to increase their awareness of how the energy body and physical body interact by integrating the slow, simple classic tai chi movements with breath and imagination.

About Wendy

Tai Chi is for everyone. The movements are slow and simple. Multidirectional weight shifting, body alignment, coordinated movements of arms, legs and trunk are designed to improve upright posture, circulation, flexibility, strength and balance. As a meditation Tai Chi emphasizes deep breathing, re

Tai Chi Chuan is a personal favorite of mine which I have devoted over 5 + years of study to, in addition to multiple styles of Kung Fu. If you want to learn the original form of Tai Chi direct from Chen Village (in a traditional manner) then you have found your instructor.

I've been really struggling to get myself back into playing seriously. I was so nervous reaching out to ask for help, but signing up for lessons with Dan is seriously the best decision I've made! He's got a great approach, really pushes you to believe in yourself, which is huge for me!

He's professional, easy going, and easy to get in touch with, but he's also holding me accountable. Something which I definitely need! Just all around a positive experience!

Daniel cancelled my son's first lesson with less than a one hour notice. He attended the second lesson, but again cancelled the third lesson with a 30 minute notice. He sent me a text message to notify me and I called him back and left a voicemail. 24 hours later and I still haven't gotten a call back. I want my money back. He has wasted my son's time. Poor professionalism.

Really enjoyed the first lesson. Daniel made it fun and im excited to learn more.

I've been teaching Taichi and Qigong for 10 years and my students have gone on to develop a deep love of Taichi and Qigong. Within the first few lessons, you'll be able to practice 8 forms of Taichi and Ba Duan Jin (8 Brocade Qi Gong) and as time goes on you'll be able to complete 24 forms and more. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I can't wait to meet you!

About Lijuan(Emily) Feng

Emily is a certified Tai chi instructor, and she has been teaching Tai chi for more than 10 years. Initially trained in the Chen style of Tai chi by a disciple of master Feng Zhiqiang for a couple of years, then turned her attention to the Yang style of Tai chi which she continues to teach today.

Anita
Great! She was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I'm definitely going to take another class.
Kathleen Danker
Emily (Lijuan) Feng is an excellent practitioner and teacher of tai chi. I am an older woman who had been unable to make any progress with a previous tai chi instructor, I was able to begin learning the 8 form from my first lesson with Emily. Even when teaching a large class, she provides individual instruction to help students improve their form and to catch up with the others if they are just beginning. She knows a seemingly unlimited number of exercises and techniques to help her students, and they can learn correct form, as well, just from watching her own masterful modeling of tai chi. Having now learned the 8 and the 24 forms of tai chi from Emily, I have incorporated them into my exercise routines, and find that practicing them regularly improves my balance and flexibility.

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese practice and is sometimes referred to as a moving meditation. It can help with high blood pressure, and is a great way to practice relaxation techniques. Tai Chi helps improve balance and flexibility.

I have been teaching Tai Chi in the Taoist Tai Chi style since 2009, certified in set leading and beginner instruction.

I can teach you two Taoist sequences - the 18 movement as well as the 108 moves. I usually recommend new students learn the 18 moves first, get this memorized and then move into the 108 moves.

"I have been working with Ron for over a year. He is an amazing teacher. His teaching style is full of patience and his explanations of each move are not only technically detailed in the physical move itself, but also in the reason for and benefit of the move. If you are interested in learning Tai-Chi, I can't think of a better teacher."

"Ron has shown me the benefits of Tai Chi and its application to daily living for your health and spirituality. I have tried exercise classes over the years but they bore me. Tai Chi has been a refreshing change and I rarely miss a class unless I have a conflict with business. Ron is gentle, unassuming and the relaxed atmosphere is very enjoyable. My mantra now is "no pain, no pain"."

"It has been my pleasure to study with Master Ron Pfeiffer, since the Fall of 2014 when I first learned about Tai Chi at U.W. Parkside in Kenosha, Wisconsin. I had broken my left shoulder a few years earlier, and could no longer practice karate. But Tai Chi is the oldest of the martial arts, and my past experience was not lost in time. It is going on 8 years now, after 34 years of Shorei Kempo Karate by Sensei, William H. Foster. During this time with Ron, I have also had the opportunity of working with Master Linda Arksey in the U.K. Together, they have combined over 80 years of Tai Chi practice and teaching to provide their students with excellent quality teaching. They have formed an "alliance, " and thus the name of their combined school "International Tai Chi Alliance." Tai Chi requires balance, breathing, posture, relaxation and a proper upright stance position or "body structure." We keep our body relaxed before starting any form of exercise, using the concept of the "Five Bows," the arms are loose, the legs are a safe distance apart and the spine is upright, but also relaxed. Tai Chi is most helpful, as a series of exercises and postures, helping to enhance leg strength, balance and immunity. The "13 Postures" are the foundation in Tai Chi Ch'uan.. We learn simple things like "baby steps," walking on our tip-toes, as we did when we were very young. As people get older, they tend to lose balance, and walk hunched over. When they fall, and they will, it is life- threatening over time. We also learn fun exercises like "skipping" steps, and walking backwards. This website is now and will be an excellent resource for all who want to make their health and their lives better, and longer. ."

I have learnt so much from Ron not only with these 2 forms but also in his online classes with other students, learning the 13 essentials. Ron is a great Master to work with I would recommend anyone to take a lesson with him you will be hooked."

Her class was attractive and interesting, she was very patient with me, my fixability and balance improved a lot after training. I also found Taichi is helpful for relieving stress and anxiety from studying, especially before final exams.

"My experience with Ron Pfeiffer has been that he is an excellent teacher. I started in Beginner's Class at U.W. Parkside learning Tai Chi for Beginners' and later Tai Chi for Energy. He is friendly and yet detailed in his approach. He works with each student & improves their for forms. He has more Teaching Certificates than anyone I know and yet always goes back to the basics. I have earned two Teaching Certificates : Tai Chi for Energy and Tai Chi for Diabetes. I've worked to improve Yang 24 Form by attending classes in Burlington, WI. I talk classes weekly with Mr. Pfeiffer at the Moose Lodge & Senior Center in Kenosha, WI. I he is not available, classes go on with other Senior Students from his dojo in Burlington, WI. He is a teacher with a wealth of knowledge and I would recommend him to friends and family of all ages."
