**I will be sending out a material list prior to our lessons.

Each student is different and unique so classes will be adjusted to each of you.
The following is a guideline for us.

We will begin the class with an introduction to the subject matter where I will demonstrate my process and thought into the drawing. After this useful introduction, you will be the one drawing and learning! I will be there through the process guiding you.
First, we will focus on studying how to draw what you see. We will work on perception through geometric shapes. After a few months with life still models and objects, we will start on figures and portraits.

Our training together will focus on:
-Understanding drawing tools and materials.
-Approaching the drawing with simple geometric shapes.
-Acquisition and development of reflective habits and representative skills.
-Develop the capacity for immediate acquisition (notes and sketches).
-Initiate tonal and chiaroscuro assessment studies.

I have art in galleries around the world. I have been teaching students for several years. Abstract painting is unique because you need to use your imagination in a different type of way. If you're ready to dive in and get out of your own way and get creative, I can help you to find that secret place in your brain where the creativity hides and let it roam free. We can learn techniques, and learn how to get inspiration. I can also teach what tools to use and why. Additionally, if you're interested in exploring mixed media, that is one of my favorite things. If you'd like to learn to create digital paintings or physical paintings, I can teach either.

About Nicole

I love art and I am passionate about making things beautiful. That spills over into Graphic design, Painting and more: I have 20+ years as a graphic designer, photographer 10+ years, artist/painter. I have been instructing for over 6 years. All of my artistic positions led me to run a print shop f

Secondly, Eileen knows all kinds of techniques and was really good at settIng up exercises that were simple (not overwhelming or stressful) but still allowed a lot of room for me to experiment with color and brushwork."

"Mark has taught me a lot of lessons in photography. Very knowledgeable in a broad range of disciplines (i.e. long exposures, head shots, weddings, street, editing, portraiture, product, and more). Covering so many categories of photography I feel gives him the ability to answer many questions that a specialized niche photographer would lack. I am a photographer and I get paid gigs, that's how good Mark is. I received my ROI 100x over. Highly recommended."
