About Nicole
"To play wrong notes is insignificant. To play without passion is inexcusable." - Beethoven

I was five years old when I discovered my singing voice. My youthful curiosity soon blossomed into a passion for musical expression through voice, violin, piano, and guitar. My mission is to share the musical exploration that has enriched my life by fostering my students' desires to express themselves through music.

As a teacher, I focus equally on formal technique and artistic expression. Mastering correct form provides the foundation upon which a student’s capacity for the latter may grow. Techniques used during lessons are designed to develop a holistic understanding of music through aural, visual, and tactile cues. These include ear training, sight-reading, improvisation and using visualization to navigate the instrument. Progress is e
valuated by developing a set of goals specific to each student. I find that allowing students input in originating goals facilitates a cooperative learning environment and allows me to tailor lessons to a student's interests, strengths and learning preferences. Providing students with a plan to succeed inspires a drive to learn and sense of achievement. I encourage students to play their instruments daily. Through consistent practice, students will benefit from increased discipline, patience, creativity and self-esteem. Students are rewarded with the chance to share what they've learned at recitals held biannually. For the duration of our lesson, my students are in a private, nurturing zone of free expression. Join me in an exploration of personal talent and creativity!

Nicole has performed with the Rollins College Bach Festival Society Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. John V. Sinclair. She has also performed with the Florida Space Coast Philharmonic under the direction of Dr. Candler Schaffer. She is experienced as a session musician, recording vocals and violin at Wright Entertainment Group Studios (Justin Timberlake) with producer Will Baker (India Arie, Pink). She has performed as a soloist at the White House, Bob Carr Performing Arts Center, Amway Arena, and Hard Rock Live.

Nicole holds Bachelor of Arts degrees (with honors) in Music and Anthropology, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Rollins College. A member of the Honors Program (top 2%), and one of nine Cornell Scholars in her graduating class, she is very grateful to have been awarded a full academic scholarship. Nicole pursued concentrations in Violin and Vocal Performance, as well as Ethnomusicology. Nicole served as co-concertmaster of the Rollins College Orchestra and String Ensemble for three, consecutive years, under the direction of Dr. John V. Sinclair. She was featured at Christmas Vesper services in a solo performance of Winter (The Four Seasons) by Vivaldi, at the Knowles Memorial Chapel. Nicole has studied violin with Joni Roos and Alvaro Gomez, protege of David Oistrakh. She has performed as a soloist with the Rollins College Gospel and Concert Choirs and studied vocal pedagogy and performance with Dr. Edmund Leroy and Dr. Lori Lovell. At Rollins, Nicole studied piano with Dr. Gloria Cook and enjoys playing classical, jazz, and Latin styles. Nicole has studied classical guitar for seven years and especially enjoys playing Latin American folk music and flamenco. Nicole pursued her love of world music in publishing her senior honors thesis, “Cultural Fusion of Music Constructs: A Look at Hybrid World Styles,” analyzing the effects of globalization on traditional, ethnic musics. She has published research in the Rollins Undergraduate Research Journal, where she also served as Music and Anthropology Editor for three years.

Teacher good but company awful. They keep contacting me instead of my husband who is the one taking the lessons. I give them his number and I have asked perhaps 5 times that they contact him direct but they seem unable to follow a simple instruction. I am now blocking them to get some peace.

About Natalie
Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, at the age of 9, Natalie knew music was something that was just a part of who she was. Writing songs on the piano before lessons could be scheduled, Natalie found herself immersed in a medium that would bring her joy for the rest of her life.

By age 14 Natalie had won several trophies competing in Classical piano with the Illinois Music Association.

As an adult, she would go on to fill her life with the world of music as a singer, songwriter, performer and recording artist.

Graduating from Elmhurst College (1997) with a Bachelor's in Music, Natalie received high accolades earning a membership in the Lambda Sigma Psi Music Honor Society.

During her college years, Natalie created and owned a local music publication called, "The Local Buzz". At this moment she had discovered her
desire to teach. "I just wanted everyone I knew in music to know and use what I was learning, or had learned from the music classes, professionals I had been meeting and working with, and my overall music life experiences". By 1997, Natalie was signed to an independent label and embarked on a new adventure.

"Music is an adventure, but without the foundation and passion I had as a child, I would have never landed where I did. I truly LOVE to teach and share what I know about piano, and the world of music. Music is what I know, and know best. Helping to create a solid foundation and build confidence in someone embarking on a journey in music is the most rewarding profession I have ever had the honor of participating in."

Natalie enjoys teaching students of any age, but specializes in piano, voice and beginning guitar, tailoring lessons to each individual's goals and reasons for learning whether it be for personal pleasure or professional performance.

Feeding off 40 years of personal and professional experiences, Natalie patiently listens to the student's desires, needs and notates their learning patterns, allowing for growth at their own pace.

Natalie's goal is to Make Music Matter to you and create a foundation that will allow you to continue to find joy in making music for the rest of your life.

Michael helped my wife and I get ready for our first dance for our wedding. Without him we wouldn't have been able to pull it off. He helped us learn so much in an extremely quick time schedule (about a month before the big day). Everything was easy going and fun. All of us joked a lot which made both my wife and I a lot less nervous. At the same time everything was extremely professional. He always helped us choose the best ways to do all the moves and showed us extra stuff to add if we felt we could do them on the day of. Michael, from the little time we knew him, is kind, sincere, and downright awesome. We can't thank him enough for how much he helped us.

I am in awe that such a talented, flexible and organized teacher is available to work with my 11yo daughter. Bill has extensive professional experience in acting and auditions. He is very organized with helpful homework sent out in advance of class.

My child is just getting into acting but I strongly believe his coaching on voice will help her for many years. In fact I’m tempted to sign up more family members for Bill’s instruction.

About Michael
Thanks for stopping by! I'm Michael, and I live and work in the Miami area. Outside of teaching, I work in product development at a K-12 education technology company — I am passionate about learning! I'm always looking to sharpen and hone my teaching skills to adapt to each student and ensure their success. In my free time, I love talking walks, learning new things, reading, baking, and learning new languages (to name a few). I studied linguistics in college and am a total language nerd! In college I spent most of time on our competitive ballroom dance team where my partner and I were nationally ranked. I also have a background in technology and computer science and have a love of IT (when it's not causing too many problems...!).

I've included some information on my teaching philosophy below — if you have questions (about piano, IT, ba
king, ballroom dancing, anything), feel free to send me a message. I look forward to connecting!

Learn to play a song by the end of your first lesson!

Piano is a great way to introduce yourself to music and form (or strengthen) your musical foundation. I specialize in beginning and intermediate level students! I firmly believe that it is never too late to learn to play the piano. :)

I believe in a technique-driven approach that builds a strong foundation, while also having fun and ensuring that my students enjoy the process and get to play the songs they want to learn. It's no fun thinking about committing to years of lessons before you're able to play anything enjoyable. I do my best to make sure that my students are working towards the music they love and enjoy while also developing their skills.

Lessons are tailored to your strengths and weaknesses for a well-rounded approach to note-reading, ear training, theory, and technique. All ages are welcome!

When you come to a lesson at my studio you will experience a voice lesson with me like you would in no other environment. This will feel like an investment in yourself to learn but also to relax and enjoy in the luxury of breathing and singing. When you enter you will feel like you entered a spa with aromatherapy and water infusions. We'll start our vocal practice on yoga mats and open up our bodies before deep breathing pranayama exercises, relaxing vocal warm-ups, ear-training and finally repertoire and artistry. Here you'll not only learn the tools and foundations of good singing but also release stress in the mind and body. I believe singing is for everyone, not just career vocalists, and that vocal lessons can be therapeutic and be helpful in living a balanced lifestyle. Release your inner wild, your personal sound, your voice that r
esonates throughout the universe with me at The Inner Wild Voice Studio.

Kristina holds a BFA from the Boston Conservatory in Musical Theatre with an emphasis in Stage Direction. She has performed as a jazz and contemporary music vocalist in numerous professional bands for the past nine years upon her graduation from the conservatory. Her personal teaching style is relaxed and infuses yoga and Alexander technique to ensure the best results in her students. She loves working with beginners and is the perfect candidate for those with interests in jazz, r&b, rock and pop vocal styles. Her lessons for students with non-professional interests can be used for mind, body and soul therapy.

Preparing for a dance competition? Auditioning for your schools dance line or local dance team? Want to learn how to get in touch with your “inner sexy”? Or just simply need some dance therapy? No experience, NO PROBLEM! You’ve come to the right person!!
I have been choreographing dances since the age of 10. From putting on shows for my family at family events to working hands on with groups and individuals in preparation for auditions or shows. Through my wide variety of dance styles ( contemporary, modern, jazz, ballet, Majorette-Style, Hip-Hop, lyrical, and liturgical) as well as my creative innovation, I offer each dancer an eccentric way to express themselves through dance. “ if you can’t say it, DANCE IT!” Between reasoned connection (specific to the occasion), improvisational movement, and structural molding, dancing to express w

Most of my earlier dance upbringing stems from liturgical dance and cheerleading. No later than one year of jumpstarting my dance career, I began teaching routines for dancers and cheerleaders in my community due to my ability to think creatively and as well as my modification skill technique to make any move fit any dancer. I have served as dance captain and cheerleading captain for both recreational and competitive squads for over 5 years. My dance styles are stretched widely across the board. From being a former dancer of Purpose Liturgical Dance Company to being a former dancer of The 14 Karat Gold Dancers of the Bethune-Cookman University.

Being trained by Miss Luckie definitely pushed me to a lot of limits that I hadn’t previously been pushed to. I was instructed very well; there was patience, positive feedback, and discipline involved. When preparing for auditions, I was extremely nervous, however, with the help of Miss Luckie, I learned to be confident and dance with much enthusiasm. She was there through every step of the way.
