Hi my name is Derrick and I have spent many years mastering Microsoft Excel to include how to write VBA macros from scratch.  I am the "Go to person" for all things Excel related where ever I go.  I have worked with and built tools and templates for several companies both large and small. 
  
Excel is very powerful and can make you very marketable in the job space.  All of my students will receive the material we covered after each session.  This material includes talking points and practice exercises.  There is a lot to take in and I feel by sending this material out to my students it gives them a document to go back to as a reference.  This will also allow you to review the material and generate questions that I will be more than happy to answer for you at any time.

Every session will build upon the previous session and progress in complexity as we go, so long as you are comfortable with the previous lessons material.    

When you are ready to become an Excel and VBA superuser I will be here to go on that journey with you.  We will definitely have fun on our journey as well.  Hope to hear from you soon and please ask me any questions you may have.

We will cover the Vlookup function, starting with understanding the syntax of the formula. We will then do several examples together to ensure you are able to utilize this function in just about any given scenario that you may encounter on the job or at school. I will be sure to leave time to answer any and all questions that you may have pertaining to Vlookup, so please be thinking of as many questions as you can. Lastly lets make this a nice relaxed enjoyable class.

Developed a tool that allowed the company to move away from a process of gather patent id numbers that was taking them 8 hours to complete.  Once my tool was launched the same results were acquired in 6 minutes.  This saved them time, money, energy and allowed them to run the process more often.
