"There's really no one you can't talk to, is there?' is what my wife always tells me. And she's right! I'll start a conversation with anyone no matter the situation because I know there's always something to learn from others. I'm a a professional musician, yet I catch myself chatting with lawyers, engineers, construction workers and nurses about their craft because I'm genuinely curious. Just how others are intrigued by what's the life of a musician like, I am fascinated by other's professions, life-style and hobbies. In short, I love to talk about anything!
With that being said, there are some subjects that I really enjoy talking about. These include music (off course!), Latin American culture, travel, history, literature, martial arts (I practice Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in my spare time), farming, meditation and poetry. I'm also the father of a 7 month-old baby, so I well versed in dipper-changing and sleeping techniques if that's what you're going through ;)

I will listen to you as carefully as possible to make the lesson meaningful. What are you interested in about Japan? History, travel, movie, music, anime, traditional entertainment, food or else? Think of learning not Japanese, but what you love through Japanese because what you love motivates you for learning the most.
One of my typical lesson styles is a situational dialogue. Let's have fun.

Master in Spanish Language and Literature from Ohio University, Athens, Ohio.
Portuguese is the language of Bossa Nova (a new trend), and Fado and Saudade (deep nostalgic feeling). I have been teaching Portuguese for over five years, and, as a native Spanish speaker, I've learned Portuguese from the ground up, just like my students.

I use a communicative approach and I highly value students' personal experiences when creating a lesson. I love to teach all ages, from beginner to advance.
I have a Master degree in Romance Languages (Spanish and Portuguese). I use a communicative methodology, which emphasizes interaction, so you will learn in context (asking for coffee, or talking about your family), and a student centered approach, which is based in your personal goals. My class
