Such fun! This was my fifth lesson with Andrew. I have learned soooo much. I appreciate how he not only breaks down the physical movements but also breaks down the music and instruments so I better understand how it all comes together! These lessons are worth every penny!

Performance Skills!!! That's what this category truly is. Do you know the nomenclature??? Let's make sure you do. I have been on the stage my whole life. It is my world. Fourth wall??? Do you know how to make one? Exits and Entrances? False Exits? (oh, i love those). The power of turning your back on someone or the audience and then giving partial profile or a complete turn. Upstaging tricks and how to either avoid or employ....so so so much fun!!! Know how to Counter???

I use a variety of acting techniques and philosophies to help guide actors into discovering what lives beyond the page. We dive deep into the characters and situations to find truth, needs, and wants that bring a depth of life to the performance.

About Rachel

I'm a professional actor, singer, musician, and dancer, and I've been living and performing in New York for 4 years now. I began teaching piano, acting, and dance to beginning students in Texas well over a decade ago, and find such joy in guiding students to discovery. I believe the performing arts

Rachel is an amazing teacher! She helped me with a self tape and was so amazing! She not only coached me on the acting of the scene, but also in how to make sure the technical side of the self tape was as effective as possible. I highly recommend her!
Ken
Rachel has an incredible understanding of the foundations of piano, and is really patient and kind. I went into this with very little piano experience (think Chopsticks!), and she helped me find a really sustainable path to learn and grow. Her lessons and exercises have been so helpful! I’ve always wanted to learn how to play piano, and now I am!

Highly recommended! Thank you, Rachel!!

The sessions exceeded my expectations. My anxieties melted away with Serena’s personality, calmness, and thorough teaching style. It’s a real genuine experience. Serena brings innovative and natural techniques that would serve well to anyone who wants to better themselves in singing, artistry, or simply picking up healthier activities to make them more well rounded individuals.

Serena taught my 8 year old son for 9 beginner lessons. The scheduling did not work out for us to continue.

I loved her teaching style! She is calm but also fun for the boy. He loved the warm up exercises. In only 30 minutes of class they were able to play several little pieces. My son could then practice and master them at home. That gave him a sense of accomplishment. This approach is better than working on a hard piece and being frustrated. She focused on sight reading from the start instead of memorizing which is a great habit.

Serena is very knowledgeable and super helpful with my daughter' s audition prep. Highly recommend!

"Have you ever felt total comfort with someone while doing an uncomfortable activity? A feeling of trust so strong that you ignore your insecurities and just do what they're helping you to do? Become so oblivious to your insecurities because of the sheer wonderment you have at how good this person is at helping others?

That's lessons with Natalya.

I'm an awkward, gangly guy. I had zero dance experience. I was so afraid to start learning how to dance.
When I started with Natalya, it was comfortable and fun from the get-go. I had no problem shedding my various anxieties about flailing my long limbs around in a rhythmic motion to the beat of random pop songs. She just, gets it.

Hire her. Take lessons from her. Find that new life skill through her artistic teaching abilities that you never knew you had.

That whole "if I can do it, you can do it" cliche is real here, with Natalya's help.

She's breathes teaching and you'll soak in her incredible ability to help you become something greater with each lesson."
