Crystal has increased my daughterâs self-esteem and expressiveness through song. My daughter is now writing her own poetry and song lyrics, as well as being able to combat her once shyness quality. She loves to perform in front of others now and has a confidence level that amazes me, especially now that she is going into those âteenâ years. I think a lot of thanks needs to go to Crystal, for assisting my daughter in reaching her current creative level!
Crystal is an amazing piano instructor. She is patient, understanding and dedicated. My daughter has learned so much from her. My daughterâs love for music has increased immensely since learning how to play the piano. This would never have been able to be accomplished without Crystalâs professional and caring teaching style.

I loved my first class!!
Merci professeure Joelle!"
The lessons are professional and organized. As I personally started the lessons with some very basic foundation (can't really understand fast speech, sluggish to construct very simple sentences), the structure to the lessons makes the learning efficient. She helped me go over sentence grammatical structures, useful words for communication, and I pick up vocabulary as we progress. She also helps play some videos of people speaking Mandarin at a pace which is normally too fast for me to understand, but she's really good with helping break it down and giving tips to help my ear and brain pick up the meaning. The homework she assigns contains very useful exercises that help further solidify and apply what was covered in the lesson too.
Most of all, the lessons are made really fun with her enthusiasm for the language and for teaching. You can ask her anything and she is thorough in her explanations with several examples to help you better understand. Moreover, the lessons are designed such that while learning how to speak the language, you are also learning more about Chinese culture (famous Chinese pieces, opera, etc), which I have found to be a great way to be better immersed in my learning. I can feel myself improving quickly and would highly recommend Lin, as she is a clear, effective, and fun teacher."

French is a language that has reached over 25 countries and touched many cultures over the centuries. It was the lingua franca before English overtook it, and still remains a formidable language in the international community. Perhaps one of the places on which it maintains a significant stronghold is in Quebec, Canada, and certainly Quebecois is the most well known French-speaking former colony. French settlers established communities there in the 16th and 17th centuries, and the language i …
