With a Master's degree in Linguistics and a Bachelor's degree in French Language and Institutions (which included a year studying at the University of Paris-Sorbonne and the Ecole du Louvre), I will infect you with my love of learning languages and help you learn French. My years of teaching French at the high school level, college level, at private language schools, and tutoring make me a perfect candidate to be your French tutor. I speak French every day because my "significant other" is French. If you do not speak English or wish to improve your English, my years of teaching English as a Second Language at private language schools will be just what you need to achieve better English proficiency. I have been a foreign language learner myself so I know what it's like to learn another language. I have not only studied French but also Spanish, Portuguese, and German. Italian is next on my list. I have traveled extensively in Europe and Latin America and also to North Africa and Asia. Lessons are highly interactive. I do my best to make it fun and interesting to learn grammar and then to apply what you learn in oral communication. I can use books you have or I can bring my own books. We will laugh at the complexities of learning a language and you will have a better understanding of your own language when you compare it with your target language (French or English).
