My human name is Dante and I love to party in positive ways! Come to class and try to have a positive time with me. Perfection is not guaranteed but I will at least try to bring it to the table. Python Knowledge: #Nueve

Glad you're tuning into this video! This video is meant to introduce viewers to the basics of functions. Online sources claim, "A function is a block of code which only runs when it is called. You can pass data, known as parameters, into a function." Please check out the video to learn more abut functions. 

Python Knowledge: #Ocho

Dictionaries aren't just books that contain all the words in a language. They are also vital elements of coding in Python. Online sources claim, "A Python dictionary consists of a key and then an associated value. Duplicate keys are not allowed but values can be duplicated. Heterogeneous objects are allowed for both keys and values. Dictionaries are mutable(can change or update values). Indexing and slicing concepts are not applicable." For loops are a vital part of coding in Python. Online sources claim, "A for loop in Python is a control flow statement that is used to repeatedly execute a group of statements as long as the condition is satisfied. Such a type of statement is also known as an iterative statement. Therefore, a for loop is an iterative statement." Check out the video to get a better understanding of how for loops work.

In this video, we go over del and .insert. Online sources say, "The insert() method inserts the specified value at the specified position." Online sources also claim, "The del keyword is used to delete objects. In Python, everything is an object, so the del keyword can also be used to delete variables, lists, or parts of a list, etc." Check out the video to gauge how .insert and del can work for you!!!

This video is another one about list. We go into details about .append. Online sources say, "In Python, the append() function is a built-in function used to add an item to the end of a list. The append() method is a member of the list object, and it is used to modify the contents of an existing list by adding a new element to the end of the list." Enjoy!

This video is meant to introduce the concept of a list. According to online sources, Python lists are "data structures in Python that are a mutable, or changeable, ordered sequence of elements. Each element or value that is inside of a list is called an item. Just as strings are defined as characters between quotes, lists are defined by having values between square brackets [ ] ."
