Poker

I am a consistent winning player over millions of hands in numerous NLH formats such as cash games, sit and go tournaments, multi-table tournaments (MTT), and 3-handed hyper-turbos.  My best online poker tournament score is $35,772 and my best casino tournament score is $55,222.

I took poker lessons from Randy.  He is awesome!  I could not break into money in tournaments for more than a year.  but after the 2nd lesson last week, I made into money twice and won a seat in a satellite game.  just had my 3rd lesson and wanted to  put this out to give a shout for Randy!

I have played a lot of on-line Texas Hold-Em.  My biggest take was a 12k win.  I understand the game from the basics to the more advanced techniques. I have worked for on-line sites, played many live tournaments, table play etc...

This class is directed more at the beginner and the "intermediate" player who feels stuck, unable to move to the upper echelon. This class is a stout review of the solid basics required to win more than you lose.  That is, to come out ahead in the long run, instead of walking away at the wrong time, or simply playing bad hands or getting pulled into expensive pots on a draw (mistakes).   If you understand any of this description, this class is for you. This is not a class for advanced players. I am an advanced player and such a pairing would be an attempt at lateral instruction and that dynamic rarely works in my experience.

I have always been an actor first, it is the craft and discipline in which I hold my advanced degrees; it is my first and eternal love. There really isn't much more one could add to such a claim. Simultaneously I have believed a teacher is born, not bred; and I was born to be in theatre, and now, with a few years behind me; I'm ready to pass on what I have learned.  At the risk of tooting my own horn; I am well trained, professionally, both as an actor and a teacher with more than a few credentials to support those claims. Regarding Texas Hold 'em (poker), I have been playing, teaching (the game) and working for online casinos over thirty years. My approach is simple and requires extreme discipline. But I can show you how to win more than you lose. And this is true of all subjects I teach both literally and figuratively.

My undergraduate Bachelors was in Acting & Directing. I was taught by the same professors who launched the students that formed the now famous Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago (Illinois State University). Further, I have a Masters degree in Theatre History and Criticism (Theatrical Critical Theory).  I have teaching experience both as a GA and in the private sector. I have been exposed to many different types of teaching styles and locales, (i.e. classroom, studio, virtual et.al). I hope that gives you a thumbnail insight; concurrently, I hope I didn't bore you to death.
