About Steven
Steven F offers instruction for electric or acoustic bass guitar, upright bass, mandolin and ukulele as well as music theory.

Steven F., a professional musician and teacher for over fifteen years, graduated cum laude with a performance degree in the upright bass from The Ohio State University where he studied and performed everything from classical to classic rock. Indeed, from the blues to bluegrass, from rock to classical, he has done it all. He currently plays with The Spikedrivers, Fox ‘n’ Hounds Bluegrass Ensemble, and Neil Jacobs' American Gypsy. He recently performed with guit
ar legends GE Smith and Jorma Kaukonen and David Grier.

In addition, Fox is a gifted instructor with over twelve years of experience. He incorporates music theory and technique in lessons so his students are able to go farther than just reading music. They learn to create music, to play with other musicians, and to play by ear.

Although Fox is serious about music he is able to keep lessons entertaining for students, and offers instruction in many musical genres. Many of Fox’s students have gone on to study music in college and have started successful careers in the field.

I find Steven to be very encouraging, his explanations are clear and concise, and the lessons are a lot of fun. I am amazed at how much we're able to accomplish in a thirty minute lesson.

If you are looking for a voice teacher that is skilled, versatile, and knowledgable, as well as motivating and encouraging, you've found the right teacher! I had the privilege of working with Kristin at Capital University as her vocal coach and instructor for Contemporary Voice. I found Kristin to be dedicated, talented, and a delight to teach and worth with. Kristin is one of the rare musicians you will find that is not only well-versed in technique and repertoire for Classical studies, but also Contemporary genres as well including musical theatre, pop, rock, and jazz. You will find her easy to connect with and you will love coming to your lessons!

Kristin was a student of mine in an all-state select choral ensemble for four years, and watching her musical growth has been a great joy for me over the years. She is a diligent musician, always seeking improvement for the best possible sound, while also finding “joy in the journey” of the musical process – music making should be fun, and Kristin knows how to balance fun with hard work! She makes people around her feel welcome, comfortable, and included. Kristin is organized, focused, and driven as a person, and expressive, dynamic, and well-rounded as a performer – all strong qualities that help her to be an excellent studio teacher.

My experience with Kristin is with the Pickerington Central High School Theatre program. As a patron of Central Theatre for over 16 year, Kristin was a member of the cast of my all-time favorite Central production "Little Women" as Aunt March and then as Maria in "The Sound of Music" her Senior year. She was fantastic in both!

Kristin and I have reconnected recently, in her "other job" and I am impressed with her kindness and patience working with people who often are not nice and how organized and professional she is at all times.

I would highly recommend Kristin as a vocal teacher.

About Gabrielle
I am a professional singer formerly signed to Sony Records and Cherrylane Publishing. I have songwriting credits in movies, television, albums and video games including Like Mike, Fat Albert, and Yu-Gi-Oh. I currently run my own personal studio and occasionally host creative workshops in schools and other venues.

After starring in a reality show, releasing an album, touring with some of music's biggest names, walking the red carpet, and performing at the Billboard awards, my band split and I returned home to really find my sound. It has been such a journey. Now that I've found it, I want
to help others discover theirs too. It's so important to me. As a striving musician, successes and failures have only deepened my passion and taught me the importance of knowing myself as an artist. I love helping others believe in themselves and release what's truly inside them. I am very diverse and able to do all kinds of genres. I am also a producer and am passionate about music arrangement, song writing and recording.

Class Specifications

* Train to hear the note, tune tone, sing on key

* Learn to create and control runs and ad libs

* Find the perfect harmonies automatically

* Strengthen diaphragm and learn to breathe correctly

* Learn to sing with emotion and let the true individual shine through

* Push the limits with the right exercises and free the voice to truly soar

* Be empowered and encouraged as a singer and a raw artist, whether this is a hobby or an epic dream

I recommend children's session be no shorter than an hour. 30 minutes goes by very quickly and children's classes are more about building confidence as well as skill which takes a bit longer.

Gabrielle has a deep passion for music and for teaching people how to excel in their musical gift. She also has an excellent ability to compose music and helped me with composing a melody for a song I had written. Gabrielle used to be apart of a musical group where many of her vocal skills and talents were showcased. Because of her experience in the musical industry, my personal experience that I had with her, and her passion, I have no doubt that Gabrielle is the perfect instructor for anyone needing vocal training.
