Are you or your child just longing to express yourself on a keyboard? So was I, for as long as I can remember.
WHEN WE WERE KIDS..... we all learned to speak before we learned to read and write. So why would you ever try to read music before you can play it?
We play AND record right away, and it's a lot of fun!
Listening back to your performance is a powerful tool.
So we record all the time. And we make it fun.

Most music lessons are just too full of un-intuitive systems. They teach reading before you can play a note. What a turn-off! We make sure to play first and we always have great fun. We still get to all the ear ...

I have found that the classical music world can often fall into the trap of being stuffy, competitive, and intimidating. The professional scene can sometimes lose sight of what's really important (that music is supposed to be fun and enjoyable!) and unfortunately drive some people away from this divine art form. Music is everything and everywhere - it is the most intimate, intuitive and beautiful language that transcends the oral and written word. I do emphasize proper technique in lessons, but I do not lose sight of this truth and try my best to keep my students motivated and inspired. With all that being said, I can go at whatever pace the student wishes. I can provide a low pressure, light hearted environment. I am also capable of placing focus on refining proper violin/viola technique - this creates the best results and faster progress. At the end of each lesson, I give clear instructions how to productively practice at home.

Jordan helped me match pitch better, and become more aware of my breath. I had already taken piano lessons in the past, so it was really nice to be able to reviews music as well. She is very good with communication and always is available via email and phone with any questions I have."
The piano is an instrument that will never go out of style. The various forms of electronic keyboards, however, have seen waves of popularity, as technology advances and exciting new features are added to new models. While some keyboardists are content to stay horizontal, a handful of musical trailblazers have been known to work their magic on that most interesting hybrid of instruments – the keytar. Whether you’re new to learning keyboard, or a seasoned expert, the keytar can be a fun inst …
