Hey potential students! I’m a professional vocalist and actress with over 10 years of working experience. My voice has given me the chance to travel the world and make my dreams come true, and now I want to share that with you! 

I value healthy vocalizing and will never push you to the point of injury - it’s just not worth it! Beyond that, I believe in VOCAL VERSATILITY. If you want to work in this field, you’ve got to be able to sing a lot of different styles! I sing classically (opera), rock/pop, and musical theatre and would love to tutor you on each and every style you so choose!

Grace is an outstanding vocal instructor.  Today was my fifth lesson with her, and I can only hope that she allows me ot continue to be here student for the next few years...  To become good at something requires a lot of practice.  Some have suggested 10,000 hours of practice to become truly proficient.  However, true proficiency is founded on fundamentals, and that is exactly what Grace stresses in each lesson.  We cannot put a roof on this house until the foundation is set; and setting the foundation takes time, patience, practice, and a professional guide.

Grace clearly is a professional vocalist, and I am certain that the fundamentals she is teaching me now will help me to evolve into the next Steve Perry!  That is truly a joke!  However, Steve Perry did not become great by ignoring fundamentals and forgetting to practice.  Beyond being a wonderful instructor in fundamentals and theory, Grace is very encouraging, yet still exacting during our lessons.  She freely gives praise when it is warranted, but will certainly not shy from having one repeat exercises that were "off".  

After 5 lessons, my voice is not the same.  Grace suggested I do recordings, but being that I am my own greatest critic, I know how I sound.  I am not the same as I was 5 lessons ago and my throat doesn't hurt anymore.  I understand more and more each day the nuances of singing and I look forward to continuing this journey to be the best vocalist I can be.  Thank you Grace!!!


First lesson in, and wow, I already learned so much! Grace blew away my expectations and you can tell she is a very skilled teacher and passionate about teaching. She made me feel very comfortable and excited to learn how to sing.

Only one lesson in and I can already tell Grace enjoys what she does and is extremely knowledgeable. She was a master at easing the nerves of someone like me who has never done anything like this before. I can’t wait for the next lesson! 

Grace is an outstanding vocal instructor.  Having trained in other disciplines in the past, I know the value of fundamentals and practice.  Grace began our training with fundamentals, which were explanations of the anatomy of the voice, and how each part plays a crucial component in the quality of the tone that we project.  From there, we worked on exercises that target each of the components of the voice.  This was very basic, yet very difficult, and also absolutely necessary.  Without these fundamentals, we cannot aspire to ever to anything well, and I have learned the hard way that the instrument of the voice is quite fragile.  So, take care of yours and find an instructor who will start with fundamentals.  Grace is exemplary in this.

Beyond being an excellent instructor, Grace is very kind, enouraging, attentive, and engaging.  She will fill your lesson with a lesson and she will not let you "off" easily.  She has high expectations and she is very gracious with her compliments for your efforts.  

I feel very fortunate to have found Grace as my vocal instructor and I hope that in a few years she will have helped me become the new Steve Perry (although at my age that's going to be difficult--actually were I 30 years younger, that would be a difficult one.).  

I highly recommend Grace.  If you are willing to put in the time and effort, I have not doubt you will see the benefits.  I have now had two lessons with her, and I already see dramatic changes.
