Learn to play guitar in the way that fits you! Soloing, rhythm guitar, fingerpicking, classical guitar,  song riffs and so much more. You will learn the basics of guitar theory as well as the fun little tricks that you love. There is a lesson plan to fit everyone from absolute beginner to rock star player that just wants to up their skills. Lets grow together.

Jen is encouraging and listens to what I am interested in learning on the guitar.  She provides excellent exercises and songs to work on and has great teaching skills.  She is also really flexible in what styles and even instruments she can teach!  I would highly recommend taking lessons with her!  I have made so much progress in learning the guitar with her guidance!!

Jennifer was patient and knowledgeable, and able to adapt the lesson when we didn't have a piece of equipment needed.  Great first lesson for my 9 year old!

My 6 year old daughter loves Jennifer's class. I am in awe of Jennifer's patience with her and we hope my kid can become a  bad-ass drummer with her tutoring!

Jen is a terrific instructor! First, she is knowledgeable about her instrument, which is great, but she’s also able to evaluate a student’s progress, and provide essential tips for improvement. She has a way of breaking down the problem into manageable segments. I finally feel that I’m on my way, and I’m looking forward to the next lesson!

Jenn was a fantastic instructor! I had always wanted to learn an instrument and when I was gifted a ukulele I immediately started looking for a teacher. She was patient and kind with instruction. She gave me plenty of music sheet to practice our weekly songs which I could use as homework throughout the week. She also went over strengthening and dexterity exercises and fingerpicking exercises. I had to end our lesson due to schedule constraints at work but I know she also teaches guitar and I hope to work with her to learn this instrument in the future!

The Mountain Exercise for Ukulele

This is a wonderful exercise to help you switch between chords. Not only will it help you improve your chord switching but it will help your overall playing, dexterity and fretboard knowledge. 


Chord Relay Exercise on the Ukulele

If you have just started out or been playing guitar for a little while this exercise is for you. This is one of my favorite exercise and one of the first that I teach. This will  help you develop your left and right hand together, improve dexterity and increase your speed.

Guitar Exercise - The Climb

In this video we will go over the basics of how to tune your guitar. You will learn the correct way to turn the tuning pegs and the string names. I will also be tuning my guitar as we go along to give you a real sense of how it is.
