Gentle Somatic Yoga is different than regular yoga because it focuses on restoring your natural range of motion and working with chronic pain. Yin poses are designed to strengthen your joints and release chronic tension held in the fascial tissue. It is based on an understanding of Chinese Medicine and meridians in your body.
