Jannette is very professional, friendly, and an excellent teacher! My daughter and I thoroughly enjoy Jannette's confident ease and patient demeanor while providing us instruction based on her years of academy level course work and current seamstress experience of which she obviously enjoys performing in her spare time. Thank you Jannette, for taking the time to help my 12-year-old daughter understand many basic skills and the joy of sewing!

WOW! All I can say is can you also babysit?? I have never seen my daughter so interested in a craft! You really brought a passion out in her and I am very appreciative. Brandi came to our house in Los Angeles to teach my daughter some of the basics for sewing (trying to find a hobby!) and she is already excited for the next class. Brandi really helped bring out a passion within her for this craft. While listening in (and trying a few things myself - haha) I saw how great of a teacher Brandi is and all I can say is THANK YOU and we’ll be scheduling again!

Hello, fellow creatives!
I got into sewing when I was 17 years old after getting my first sewing machine (as requested) for Christmas. I really wanted to make my own raver wear and the first thing I made was butterfly printed pants. I loved being able to express myself thru the costumes I made and have been ever since!
I sewed my own garments by piecing together patterns for 6 years before getting my degree in fashion design. Since attending school I learned the industry standards to fashion design where I excelled at pattern making by hand and draping.
I have made everything from traditional Halloween costumes (cheerleader, poison ivy, ringmaster, genie etc) to costumes for burning man for myself and all my friends including my boyfriends, to costumes for performers like professional hula hoopers, fire spinners, stilt walkers, dancers, and DJs. Basically, I help anyone who wants to have fun while they look fabulous in their own one of a kind costume.
Some of my more notable ...
