Knitting with Billie E.

Billie began knitting at age 4. Over the decades she has knit everything from slippers, afghans, jackets, sweaters, baby clothes to dishtowels. She is a retired educational consultant who worked with parents and teachers to bring learning toys to children in their most formative years. She understands how life in our fast-paced world can lead one to feel the need to multi-task. Knitting allows you to do just that! You can have conversations or watch a film on Netflix while turning a piece of yarn into something useful, one stitch at a time. But it's also very relaxing, once you're up to speed. Billie is a patient teacher who will ensure that you'll be knitting in no time. In your first class you'll learn how to cast on, and do the knit and purl stitches. If time permits, you'll also learn how to bind off. Billie can help you select patterns to make things that will be at the right skill level for you.
