I received a Diploma in Contemporary Writing and Production from Berklee College of Music in 2006. In 2008 I relocated to New York City to play Bass for numerous NYC Bands touring the United States with The Josh Nelson Project, Man on Earth and his own band under The Deep Pink. He has shared the stage with Dr Fink (Prince and the Revolution) , Bruce Hornsby, Creed, Dan Tepfer, Nikki Glaspie (Beyonce). Currently I am playing bass and keyboards for alternative rock band, Don’t Believe in Ghosts, who just recently signed to Imagen Records/ADA Warner and featured in the new Apple TV+ Series "We Crashed" March 2022 starring Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway. From playing in dozens of different bands over 20 years as a sideman, I am well versed in jazz, funk, pop, rock, and reggae. I also enjoy working with beginners all the way to advanced students teaching 4 and 5 String bass. In lessons, I will provide skills to groove in all styles by emphasizing finger and thumb techniques, deep dive into rhythm, reading music, exploring music theory and ear training.
