The Alliance Française de Denver

The Alliance Francaise de Denver was founded in 1883 to promote French culture and language in non-French speaking countries. It is the oldest nonprofit organization in Denver, and the only French language, culture, and resource center in Colorado.

The Alliance offers social and cultural events for the community including lectures, art exhibits, film screenings, wine tastings, and cooking classes. They also have an incredible library of books, films, and music.

Denver Metro French Table

If you’re looking for a fun way to practice your French skills, head on over to the Rooster & Moon Coffee Pub on Tuesday nights for the Denver Metro French Table. This weekly event is a great way for French enthusiast to meet and network with others who love all things Français!

Enjoy a cup of coffee, a delicious pasty, or some tapas while you practice your French conversation skills. Beginners through fluent speakers are welcome.

International School of Denver

Another option for young students or adults is the International School of Denver. There is a French Ministry of National Education accreditation for their program, and all French instruction is delivered by native French speakers.

From kindergarten through eighth grade, students with a French emphasis undergo instruction in both English and French. The school also offers summer camps in many different subjects including French and Le Chef.

Trompeau Bakery, near Denver University, is another great option for a variety of French croissants, quiches, cookies, and pastries.
