I put in the time to complete the homework and review the vocabulary and sentence structures that we'd covered each week. After a handful of classes, I went from practically zero language ability (aside from a few food terms) to being able to articulate some simple questions and answers in Vietnamese. These are serious lessons that include learning to read and write Hindi as well. The only note of caution I would offer to other parents is that I felt that it would have helped the pace of the lessons if my child had been slightly older and able to write better, since you do need to write down words and sentences in both Hindi and the English translation during the lesson.

I am hoping we will be able to build on that foundation and encourage her to speak Hindi sentences more often."
