I have been teaching for over ten years and most recently for USG officers on a one-on-one basis. In addition I conduct online classes for them as well as for private students, whose levels range from beginners to level 4. Born, raised and educated in France, my style is unique as I adapt myself to the student's needs, creating lessons plans based on the student's abilities and progress. I measure progress on a regular basis, so as to adjust myself to the students strengths and helping the student to reach the assigned goal.

Hi! I am a native Russian speaker with over 7.5 years of experience teaching in private and public schools, as well as private tutoring.
I also have a Master's degree in Education and several teaching certifications. I love creating my own fun materials and assignments to supplement textbooks and conversation.
I have taught hundreds of students within the past decade across all ages and levels. My experience includes test preparation (TORFL, DLPT), job specific preparation (military, government, defense contractors, business, IT), and general conversational Russian.
If you have any questions about my background or services please don't hesitate to message me!

I know what it's like to learn a language as an adult. I learned Chinese at age 26. Upon returning from China, I learned to read and write Chinese while employed at Johns Hopkins University.
I have also been teaching ESL since 2003.

We all know European languages have that romantic touch that we all need to hear or understand from time to time. Eminescu's language should be discovered by everybody. I'm more than willing to explain it to someone passionated about Latin languages.
I recently moved from Romania and I would love to spread my native Romanian knowledge with someone passionated about this Latin language. I studied Romanian and English grammar and literature at Petru Maior University (BA), in Targu-Mures, Romania, 2010-2013.
So it's been a pleasure!

This is one of my absolute passions! Did you know that “regionally specific dialects” change approximately every 20 miles? Part of my vocal training included a deep dive into dialects or accents, how to master them and how to lose them. This is so much easier than you may think! It’s all about small modifications, mostly in the mouth and jaw that can completely change the way you sound.
How many sessions you need really depends on how much work you’re willing to put in between sessions. I can give you the keys, but this is really a case of practice makes perfect. If you find you’re not booking because of your accent, let me help you master “LA speak” otherwise known as the “non-regionally specific U.S. dialect”.
Hint: I’ve lived in 8 different countries so far and in the last month I’ve had 2 of my long time acting coaches say “Wow… I would have never known you weren’t from LA!”

Do you have a trip planned to Germany? Traveling abroad is an exciting adventure as it can open your eyes to new customs, cultures, and people. While the experience is often amazing, there's one thing many people don't think about before they go—the language barrier. You'll find that there are many English-speaking people in Germany, but you won't always be able to identify them. Instead, it's best to have a few German expressions memorized or written down before you go. That way, if you …

The best thing about learning French is that you can call staying in and watching movies "studying". Doesn't that Netflix binge seem productive now? So, what's in the study queue this month? These great French movies on Netflix are all streaming now! The Chorus (2004) PG-13 Music teacher, Clément Mathieu (Gérard Jugnot) starts a boys choir at a strict boarding school for boys in France. One child in particular, Pierre, is an aimless troublemaker, but his music teacher sees promise …

There’s no doubt that learning a second language can be a difficult task. Although learning Spanish as a native English speaker may be easier than picking up a language like Chinese, it takes time and practice to get from your first ¡hola! to full-blown fluency. If you’re looking to accelerate your progress, it’s worthwhile to do some research into the best ways to learn Spanish. This means learning how to study smarter, not just harder. With the right study habits and a drive to succ …
