San Antonio Performing Arts Lessons for Kids

I was a Theater Arts major at Trinity University where I took part in several productions, including Cabaret, Trojan Women, Chemin de Fer and Die Fledermaus. AT San Antonio Little Theater I performed in No, No, Nanette and Philemon. As a student at UTSA, I performed in Trial by Jury, Boris Godunov, Iolanthe and the Madrigal Christmas Dinners. I was hired by UTSA as a paid performer in the Madrigal Christmas dinners from 1984 to 1989. From 1989 to 1995 I taught Music and Drama at Converse Elementary. In the 1990's I performed in The Magic Flute and Don Giovanni as part of the San Antonio Festival. I have done freelance work over the years as a performer for special events. As an elementary music teacher and secondary choir teacher, I have produced and directed numerous programs and musicals. I have taught acting and public speaking to a number of students.

I have been teaching acting since 2013 and use a combination of tools and techniques from many of the well known acting theories. Through exploration, you will learn how to use the "acting fundamentals" (given circumstances, personalization, actions/tactics) to discover an honest connection to the script.

Lessons are customized to each student depending on your goals and needs.

Choral blending and harmonies build the strength to a great choir. Light music theory with group vocal coaching will be the core of my teaching style. I can arrange music for any group size. Hello, my name is Anna and I have more than 22 years of the experience in ballroom dancing. I can teach Latin, ballroom, rhythm, smooth dances, including West Coast swing, salsa, merengue, Argentine tango, almost all couple dances, you name it. I have a huge experience working with the beginners with both left feet and with gold dancers, as well with pro dancers; I’m a national champion of my country and World Cup finalist, but as you remember: I have a huge experience with the beginners and two left feeters) I do believe in dancing, both: social and competitive and that’s why along with physical teaching I want to reach to everyone and share benefits of ballroom dancing)
Do you need to have a partner?! Preferably...but if you happen to be alone at home, I’ll teach you using whatever you will have around: tables, chairs, doors, etc.
Solo dancing?! Not a problem, I’ll teach you how to dance on your own
