The best part of teaching is when the student has that "Eureka!" moment: feeling the enjoyment of dancing, having confidence and control coupled with the ability to let go and create. I teach students to understand the foundations of movement, how to master the basics and connect into the complex. The how, the why and the what and how each dancer relates are imperative. I believe dance can be accessible to everyone. I believe my job is to help you fill your tool box.

I have a Masters degree in Acting from the acclaimed Actors Studio Drama School in Manhattan, so I am well versed in most every acting technique; including Stanislavski, Strasberg, Meisner, Chekov, Hagen, Stella Adler, and beyond. I've taught acting to children, teens, and adults in the US and abroad since 2005 and my students are working actors! My main goal is to help you to develop your own set of tools for practicing the craft of acting, and to better understand your unique voice as an artist. Make sure to wear clothing you can move in during our sessions, and, most importantly, explore and just have fun!

This is my full singing course for families, groups, churches, ensembles, facilites etc. for vocal training for **GROUPS OF 2 OR MORE.** Each person must sign up individually but all can occupy the same time slot. You will learn pitch, sight reading, range, harmony and group dynamics through powerful song selections, vocal theory, troubleshooting and practice. Works well for churches that cannot afford musicians!

Stella Adler, Stanislavsky, Chekhov, and Meisner Acting Technique for Theatre/Camera is taught in private and group classes. All students are exposed to each technique and Rachel sees which technique each student responds to the most. Once the student and Rachel are able to identify the technique, Rachel continues to use the terminology of that technique for the remainder of the time the student is in lessons. Students eventually are able to play roles truthfully and realistically, even if the roles are opposite of the student's own personality.

Hello there! I provide high quality dance instruction grounded in the principles American Ballet Theatre National® Training Curriculum and Vaganova Method. I hold a master's degree in dance education from NYU Steinhardt and am an ABT® Certified Teacher (Pre-Primary through Level 5) with professional performance and choreographic experience.
