What makes my science, physics, and math lessons unique is my focused approach on strengthening conceptual understanding. Too often, students struggle not because they aren't smart, but because they have gaps in their foundational knowledge or misconceptions that were never properly addressed. I spend time at the beginning of our sessions evaluating each student's strengths and weaknesses to identify any areas they are shaky on. From there, I develop personalized lesson plans that guide students through building up their knowledge from the ground floor. We spend as long as needed on each new concept through demonstrations, examples, and problem-solving until mastery is achieved. This approach means that students retain information better and are able to confidently apply what they've learned to more advanced problems. It also prevents frustrations and roadblocks down the line by eliminating any cracks in their foundation. My goal is to give students a deep, comprehensive knowledge of these subjects that will serve them throughout their continuing education and careers.
