Hi, I'm Nedra. I love teaching! I have over 19 years of experience in the education field. I have a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education (English) & an Associate of Science in Teacher Education, as well as several graduate courses in Education Administration. I am also TEFL certified, through Premier TEFL. My professional skills range from teaching preschoolers, elementary age kids, middle school kids, and adults, and includes many subjects, with ESL being my primary focus. I have experience teaching students who have a special need, as well as students with challenging behaviors.  I have a love for the English language, which is the drive that pushes me to utilize my expertise to help students become better writers and readers. I look forward to working with anyone who needs to reach short or long term goals. In this class, students will be reading short passages along with help from the teacher. They will answer qustions concerning, plot, setting, characters, and events that take place in the story. Students will improve comprehension and critcal thinking skills, as well as pronunciation skills. This is a great class for struggling readers and those who need extra help!

My class was awesome. She is very patient, and  take time to explain things.  Looking forward to our next class.
