I've taught elementary math classes through high school math courses, but I can honestly say, my favorite grade to teach, and the grade that I know I excel in teaching, is 7th grade math, or pre-algebra.  My first year teaching middle school, I taught 7th grade math, and I have been perfecting my curriculum ever since (and will continue to, since I'm always in search of the best new teaching practices for my students).  If you are looking for a teacher who is truly an expert teacher and will guarantee improvement in your math abilities in Pre-Algenra, then I'm it.  Plus, I'm also a ton of fun (tooting my own horn a little!)
I've been teaching math for over 11 years and my students have gone on to develop a deep love of math, critical thinking skills, some have already gone off to college, and more! Within the first few lessons, you'll start regaining your confidence in your math abilities, and as time goes on, you'll be taking on college level math courses! I also specialize in engaging, individualized, lessons, typically use various online tools/resources, and have the following tools available for your lessons: engaging math lessons, virtual interactive activities, writing tablet and styllus, interactive whiteboard, virtual task cards, virtual textbooks, online math games, two way video and audio and more.  I love working with students of all experience levels and can't wait to meet you!
