Arts

I am a professional artist working in several mediums, including drawing, abstract painting, photography, video and writing. I received a Bachelors of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and a Meisterschüler (German graduate- level art degree). I have exhibited my work in internationally in Berlin, Frankfurt, Chicago and New York. 

I spent the summer of June 2022 working with hundreds of young creators in the Takelessons group summer camp program and it was a blast! Prior to this I taught ESL classes for children ages 4-14, so I am particularly comfortable with remote learning. I strive to make my online lessons deeply engaging and visually exciting. 

I have also taught visual art classes in private households for children, as a summer camp counselor and as a private painting tutor with adults in Frankfurt. Additionally I have worked as a tutor with young adults for the Early College Program (ECP) at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

I have over fifteen years of experience working with children and I have decided to place a clear focus on teaching Arts exclusively to young people as this is what makes me happiest and gives me the most energy and joy. I am available for private lessons for students of all ages to develop skills, techniques and concepts on a deep and personal level. I am also interested to teach with a group lesson format as I deeply believe in creating a creative community. This is where I feel learning can thrive and I am confident in my unique abilities to facilitate this within a group of young creators. Please note my group classes are open to ages 5-17.

hi Oliver its Anton . Your probably familiar with me . the regular .I haven't ever wrote a review before so this is awkward . But i will only write reviews to my favorite teachers . So you can really flex now. i just wanna tell all your classmates friends regulars that they picked the right choice picking you as a teacher. last year i would set a goal like drawing a dragon. And after drawing a single line i would give up.You inspired me to keep working and never stop until my goal is finished.And you gave me confidence on my drawings.All the compliments , encouragements are too many to count. I've been in your lessons for 7 months .Way back to June 2022 that's a long time.Keep up the great work and amazing lessons.Anton out.

highly recommended teacher it is my first day for my son and am  behind the door trying to hear his conversation with the teacher , this teacher has knowledge and can give our kids what  we we can give in such talented subject
