Learn to express yourself and make your flute sing! Play with confidence and pride in your school band, rehearsals and ensembles. Make progress with each lesson, learning to read notation, improve tone and overall musicianship.
I make learning and playing fun! Students can choose music from school programs or music I will provide. Students express themselves freely as they gain confidence on their instruments. I am a singer-songwriter/recording artist as well.

There is more to a performance then just singing well. It is important to engage your audience by adding real emotion to your songs as well as knowing what to do with your body and how to move with confidence and control. Performing means knowing how to work the crowd and leave them wanting more.
I graduated from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, GA with a BA in Music Education, voice principal. During my years in public schools I taught a variety of age ranges and subjects including kindergarten general music, beginning band, high school chorus, and remedial middle sch

Bachelor of Music from University of Denver's Lamont School of Music
I have been teaching for the past 6 years, and love working with all different students. My former students have been selected to be in the Colorado All-State Honor Band and have been accepted to their top choice colleges for music performance. In 2016, I attended the Aspen Summer Music Festival, where I learned a great deal about clarinet and teaching. My specialty is pinpointing bad habits and working towards effortless, high-quality sound and technique.
I am an avid clarinetist, energetic performer and enthusiastic teacher. My dream career is to be a soloist like Martin Frost, to play in an orchestra, or compose and perform my music. My passion for teaching is similar to my passion for performing, and I have experience teaching privately since 20

Piano Performance from University of Rhode Island
My name is Christine and I am a piano performance major at University of Rhode Island. I am a classical pianist, very advanced in music theory and I can also read sheet music very well and fast. I have been playing piano for 16 years and taught by various professors from Hong Kong, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. I also have intermediate knowledge in jazz piano and would be able to teach that as well.
I like to be able to expand your music knowledge as well as making you a better pianist. In order to expand your knowledge, I will teach you various things in music theory that will help you have a better understanding of what you are playing. Music theory is part of the lesson, so please don't be alarmed that you aren't playing piano for the entire lesson.
If you allow me, I will do to the best of my ability to fulfill your musical potential.
