Experienced Trumpet teacher of 5 years available for eager students of all experience levels! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of technical ability and excellent musicianship. I specialize in concert band and orchestra styles of music, however I am willing to teach jazz styles. For beginning students I typically use Measures of Success Book #1. For intermediate students I recommend Standard of Excellence book #2 and book #3.

About Vivian

I am a professional Music Educator. I play several instruments including Ukulele, French Horn, Trumpet, Clarinet, and Trombone. I graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelors of Music Education. Ukulele students can expect to see improvement week to week in their playing technique. E

Learning a musical instrument should be fun, exciting, and most importantly pain-free.

About Chaul

I have been playing the violin for over 24 years. I like to teach beginning, intermediate, and advanced students regardless of their age. I would prefer beginners to take at least one year of piano lessons prior to learning how to the play the violin. This way students can transfer basic music know

Thank you Chaul for a great lesson and also for being so patient with me when my computer didn't log into the session right away. I enjoyed my first lesson and am excited to have such a fabulous teacher that sent me material and information to prepare for my first session. I feel confident that I will be able to progress and I know that I will enjoy learning with you. I'm looking forward to my next lesson.

Piano is inherently fun. Maybe thats why they call it "playing" the piano. I will show you the funnest and most interesting way to learn exactly what you want to learn. Ive been masting the instrument for the last 15 years, and I was classically trained by a concert pianist for 8. I understand A LOT about piano injuries, so you wont get injured while working with me. If you can imagine it, I can teach it.

About Joshua

I was classically trained by a concert pianist for 8 years and then I developed a repetitive stress injury while I was taking my grade 9 RCM. I spent the next couple of years talking to specialists and doing my own research. For a while I thought I would have to give up the piano forever. But after

"I recently started taking lessons with Kenny to try to learn some basic lead guitar in a one on one setting. I've been very impressed with his preparation, taking the time to tailor the lesson to my level of play and the music I am interested in playing. He also is very encouraging and is interested in my learning and progress, even going beyond the one hour lesson time to ensure that I have the tools necessary to continue to work at home."

"Yet another great practice! I've been trying to figure out what I am doing at the end of high notes that is causing weakness (or cracking) which is why I get scared to belt them out and now I feel like I understand what I am doing conceptually. Just gotta keep practicing and training to doing it practically. Even though this lesson was based on one particular song, I am excited to see how it impacts how I am able to sing others like it."

"We decided to get our son involved in something that doesn't require a gaming controller and he chose drums. We picked Tom out of the gate and I told my son that if he didn't mesh with him that we could find another instructor. After my son got over his initial shyness and intimidation, he warmed up to Tom and now looks forward to his lesson days. Tom ALWAYS is encouraging and supportive which has helped build my son's confidence and stoke his passion for something other than XBox. He has been flexible with us when needed. I would highly recommend Tom as an instructor."

"Dr. Sue Sheya is truly an exceptional instructor. As a student who studied a little bit of music in Europe, it was difficult for me to adjust to the American solfege system (C, D, E scale) as I was used to the European solfege (Do, Re, Mi). However, Dr. Sheya was very flexible and adjusted all her lesson materials so that I could truly succeed in learning. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a supportive, friendly, and enthusiastic teacher that can truly guide them in learning how to play the flute!"
