Hi, there! My name is Stephanie and I can't wait to meet you! I am a singer/songwriter with more than 25 years personal experience. I wrote my first song when I was 12 years old and was singing before I could talk. I have been playing the guitar since I was 15 years old. I studied Fine and Performing Arts at Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and was featured on a few albums showcasing local musicians.
I home schooled my children for a number of years and taught a guitar class at our local home school co-op in years past. I began teaching online in 2020 after the pandemic hit and have loved every minute of working and learning with children and adults!
As a guitar and ukulele teacher, I focus on students gaining confidence on the instrument and help them to begin playing chords from their first lesson. I teach the theoretical parts of the instrument in the context of playing and strive to have a welcoming, relaxed, and fun teaching environment. I would love to help you or your child develop and improve your musical skills.

The ukulele has been growing in popularity throughout the years and can be a great first instrument for music lovers of all ages! Perfect for little hands, the ukulele gives children a unique opportunity to practice playing a string instrument. Students will be learning chords from their first lesson and may be surprised to find out how many popular songs can be played on a ukulele! I am a laid back and fun teacher and students can learn in a low-pressure environment with lots of encouragement and support from me! Students will gain the foundational skills needed to excel musically while learning songs they are interested in.

Great intro lesson for our 6 year old! She had fun and Stephanie was very patient and great about reviewing the material multiple times

Stephanie is wonderful! She is engaging, encouraging, enthusiastic and fun! She is also patient and really takes the time to assess her students and give explicit direction to move them forward. My daughter has come a long way in just 4 lessons! Great choice!!

I've known Stephanie for ages. We were musicians in highschool together, and here...20 years later, she's STILL able to find ways for me to improve, both technically and artistically!
