Well, okay, I'm more than a vocalist here. I produce, compose, and write all of it. This is my music, telling my story. The more you get to know me, the more you'll learn about that story and why it's fundamental to my teaching. My experiences have shaped my reality. It's why I'm here now, helping people like you find their voices.

As part of the School of Rock team, I had the privilege of working with many dozens of talented individuals, both students and staff, to train and prepare people towards professional, performing musicianship. I worked with students of all ages and skill levels, adhering to and facilitating their stylistic needs, and helping them accomplish their goals, while guiding them along the curriculum to professional and personal success. It was a joy to be a part of, and it helped me see my own skills and weaknesses, from which I found a lot of growth, and I take that knowledge into my teaching today.

Two months into lockdown, I was enjoying my time off from work, and I was fortunate enough to not be impacted severely by COVID. I had an itch, though. I needed to do music, and I had never taught until then, but I realized just how much I loved talking about the voice and my philosophies-- I knew I had to do it. It was one of the best choices of my life.

I have worked with Tristan for several months. During this time he has been a fantastic vocal coach. I’ve learned so much from him and grown so much in confidence. He was a great facilitator for the kind of music I wanted to work on and always had new techniques to show me. I would strongly recommend him to anyone who wants to improve their singing.

Tristan is fantastic with my teen son.  He wanted to improve his voice for theater auditions and has been working on that.  We appreciate Tristan's kind and dedicated teaching style.

Diving into a class where I had no skill at all was something deeply out of my comfort zone, But Tristan as my mentor, made all anxieties and fear dissapate! Having gained newfound confidence and tools about how my voice works and transistions to music makes me feel that I can be comfortable about my voice in a public setting. Being intuitive, charismatic, and adaptive in his guidance makes me feel that hes able to mentor the best of them.

Tristan is a very gifted vocal coach.  He has a beautiful way of communicating and teaching his methods.  I approached him to overcome some of the fear and hesitation that I had with singing.  Through Tristan's methods, I was able to remove the performative aspect of singing and relax into the joy of it.  Anyone wanting to expand their knowledge of their vocal instrument and increase the joy of singing would benefit from his training.

We did some work in the beginning but the last few lessons was more of a lecture with no progress 

He did a great job teaching me a great technique to enhance my voice I enjoyed learning I do recommend you if you want to enhance your voice as well

Triston is amazing!   I just had my first lesson and scheduled several more.

When I started taking lessons with Tristan I was struggling with sounding clear and understanding the mechanics behind how to not strain my throat while singing. Throughout the lessons we focused on my pain points and learned various techniques to focus on the movement and allow the breath to take care of itself. I noticed myself sounding clearer and not putting strain while singing, and feeling the harmony while singing. My singing has dramatically improved over the past few weeks and it feels great and like I’m making real progress to where I want to be in regards to my singing. I can't wait to see where my skills improve and can't recommend Tristan enough!
