Music Reading Overview

Mary Claire has been a great help in getting me back to playing the piano after a hiatus of 50 years. She is very patient and always comes up with ways to make learning fun and challenging. She sources pieces that will challenge me and has gently brought in theory that I never learned when I was a child.

I have been taking lessons with Mary Claire for the past three years in her studio. She is absolutely amazing! Very knowledgeable and an extremely good pianist and teacher. I am an adult beginner and has taught me so much. She is very patient with my music and has always given constructive input. She frames things in creative and easy to understand ways. I highly recommend.
