He transitioned to playing folk/rock such as James Taylor and The Band. The result is a guitar player and vocalist with an eclectic style of off-beat swing with engaging musical progressions.

I focus on teaching proper techniques to give you a lifetime of enjoyment playing the songs you love. Beginning students learn posture, how their guitar works, fundamental picking, and strumming skills. Intermediate students get lessons on chord progressions, applying scales over chord progressions, and repertoire building.

At the end of each class, students will have work to focus on during the week to prepare to demonstrate the following week. Knowing what you need to practice is a key part of my lessons!
