My name is Jerry. I LOVE music and passing my knowledge on to others. I have played many different instruments in many different kinds of bands/groups. They all had one major thing in common, it was FUN! If you are not enjoying learning an instrument you won't want to learn. Lessons can be fun AND educational at the same time. While not music related, it shows my ability to teach others at the highest of levels. I am certified and trusted by the United States Concealed Carry Association to train their instructors to meet the rigorous guidelines set forth by every state for carrying a firearm. I am also trusted by those states to train the students to meet those same guidelines.

I teach you to be a musician, not just an instrumentalist. There is a huge difference. I give you material to learn while doing my best to make it fun as well. I teach you the basics and build on that foundation. You can learn the material as fast or as slow as you want. However, it is not a canned approach because every student is unique and your learning styles reflect that. My goal is your success, truly!

Went way above and beyond to work with my son and help him with the things that he struggled with. We are very pleased and thankful to Mr. Jerry.

Extremely unprofessional to abruptly cancel scheduled/paid lessons without the courtesy of a message or any notice because this instructor was unhappy with a 12-year-old child's progress. Very surprised by and disappointed in the manner in which he handled this situation, certainly could have been handled with more respect and maturity.

Jerry is a wonderful instructor. I wasn’t sure how online lessons would go but they have been seamless and fun and my son is making progress with the bugle. I would highly recommend this format and this teacher. The convenience and quality of instruction are excellent. We are signing up for more lessons and may move on to another instrument once my son feels confident on the bugle.

Very knowledgeable, helpful, hands on and patient. Good for ALL ages! As an adult, I have seen and experienced it myself, adults, and kids alike, love working with him!! Jerry is very interactive and keeps everything interesting and fun!! Jerry makes it easy to understand and easy to follow. Good things always take time, but Jerry seems to make the time go fast with his instruction. I would absolutely, 100% recommend Jerry Moody!!! Probably one of the BEST Instructors I’ve ever known.

Jerry is an awesome teacher! Very patient and interacts so well with my 11 year old daughter. So knowledgeable on music. Would highly reccomend!

Jerry has an excellent talent for a wide range of aptitudes. The soundtracks he composes can really connect people with the imagery they seen in the videos. It moves you and really can play into setting the overall tone of your project. You can see his drive and passion for perfection in everything he does.

My brother and I took lessons from Jerry as we were growing up years back. He is the best teacher! Always worked at a pace that fit our learning needs, regardless if it was guitar or bass. He definitely has helped me become the musician that I am today! I highly recommend him!

Jerry is the best! Knowledgeable in all things music, he can help you not only learn your instrument but also the music theory that goes along with it. I still use his warm ups and practice routines he wrote out for me to this day (and it’s been 12+ years since he taught me!) Highly recommended.
