French Horn

From Long Island, NY, Tori is a teacher and orchestral horn player currently working with The Orchestra Now out of Bard College to complete a Masters Degree in Curatorial, Critical, and Performance Studies. While working on her Masters Degree, Tori serves as a horn player with the New York Army National Guard. Tori serves as the Music Performance Team Lead for the Unit’s Brass Quintet, which performs at schools, public concerts, and military ceremonies across New York State.

Prior to joining The Orchestra Now, Tori studied with Erik Ralske (Principal Horn, Metropolitan Opera Orchestra) and Eric Reed (American Brass Quintet), taught as a public school teacher on Long Island, and freelanced in New York City.

Hello! My name is Tori, and I am a French Horn Player based out of New York. I have been playing French Horn for the past 12 years, and am currently playing with The Orchestra Now out of Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York. I have also played with a wide array of groups all over the North East, including the Bronx Opera Company and Symphony New Hampshire. I also play with the 42nd Infantry Division Band of the New York Army National Guard.

Before joining The Orchestra now, I worked as a public school teacher on Long Island in multiple districts. I have also been teaching private lessons since 2016, working with beginner through advanced students ranging between the ages of 10 and 55. I also have extensive experience working with students of varying educational needs.
