Hello! My name is Jacob, and I am currently a band director in Baltimore County, Maryland.

I love video games, cooking, poetry and pets!

As someone who has many experiences with different subjects, I believe that there is always more than one way to teach something, and if one way is not working, there is a better way to teach the subject to the student.

While it is important to learn the content of the lesson, I also believe it is important to get to know my students, ask them about their week, and facilitate their needs accordingly so that the student is comfortable at all times.

As a woodwind doubler, I know all of the in's and out's of all of the woodwind family, and can teach all of them! As a Flautist of 6 years and a middle school band teacher, I can help you learn flute and play whatever music you like, anywhere from beginner music all the way to college auditions!

Flute basics can be very difficult, but with a teacher, the issues can be quickly identified and fixed so that you get back on track to learning more difficult music!

Mr. Neville is a super helpful teacher! He is very accommodating and provides great instructions. Mr. Neville’s knowledge on the saxophone is evident and his demonstrations make it easy to learn!

Jacob is a phenomenal teacher! He knows a lot about playing saxophone in many areas: jazz, classical, etc.  The tips and tricks he can provide will help your playing improve immediately.  I highly recommend him as a saxophone teacher.
